Return of Reckoning

On official server I was able to make an agreement with other solo-roamers to stay out of each others way, didn't really need to talk with them about it, it just developed naturally. If I caught anyone that usually was part of a WB, and had died to more than once, then yes one of us was going back to WC for sure.
I tend to take pity on the lowbies trying to rank zones too, been there got rekt constantly so I give them a break (I take the BO but don't kill them). I guess you can be an individual while still being useful to your realm too.

Making a mountain out of a molehill is what this thread is doing.
When all is done and fixed i agree that /say /shout should not be seen by the other faction but right now being alpha and with alot of bugs it helps get to the bottom of what is causing some skills/things to bug out, also sayng hi to ppl you know from the other faction is a nice touch.
At time you will get that idiot who brags in /say to annoy the other faction but all that should do is show to everyone what an idiot they are and also make players focus them even more.

Is the cross faction chat still a thing? I intend to start a marauder on my next day off. Anyway, i can see the xchat being amusing, standing on the fort yelling obscenitys at the enemy would be absolutely hilarious, if when im roaming i find a destro/order tea party, i'll yell "for slaanesh!" And slaughter everyone!

I agree with LannicusGore, there is a great need to let the enemy know what we think about them and how much pleasure we take in killing them. I for one need to scream "FOR ULTHUAN!!" before ramming my sword through a darkelf gut or set an arrow in a face...

This guy pretty much summarized why x-realm chat was off on live and why it should be turned off in RoR. Or at least be toggleable.

I prefer to hurl in character insults towards our enemies, bang my axe on my shield and shout battlecries as i steam into their ranks. Keep it on.

I got a hate tells from 2 people today was fun to see the butthurt.

How will I be able to tell order their Pizza is here as I bang my face on the door.
In all honesty, yelling Orc-y things and getting characterful responses makes keep sieges alot more fun.

I agree, seeing a shouting orc is fun. Unfortunately, most players preferer to shout things that have nothing to do with orcs dwarves or elves, something like LOL PWNED NOOBZ.
So unless there will be a punishment for non-roleplaying chat messages, the x-realm chat will remain the constant source of player-to-player hatred instead of character-to-character or faction-to-faction hatred.
If you understand what I mean.

Emotes are much more frustrating imho, hate-fueled salt-vampires will always find ways to grief...
