Anyone can have an opinion and any idea is up for critique.
It does certainly give arguments less weight if your white and male talking about racism and feminism though and saying people shouldn't take offence.

@Seaterror We are having a discussion about offensive names which you seen fit to add more than your 2 cents too. Then rather than consider others peoples thoughts on the matter you revert to well I have responsibilities in life such as job/mortgage. Think that's were the misconception happened. It was a tad narcissistic, and a tad condescending. Lot's of people have all those things and the 2.4 children yet might still care about other people too.

I don't agree with the sentence enclosed in quotes either, however, that's not how I interpreted Telen's post. He/she seemed to be saying that as a member of one group (white male), you have no right to decide what another group 'should' or should not find offensive. That's completely different to prejudice and/or discrimination against white, cisgender, hetero, middle class (etc etc) males.
People need to grow a thicker skin when it comes to obvious trolls. When somebody names their character F****t or w/e, it's because they want attention.
I'm saying that people shouldn't let an obvious trolling attempt bother them that much.Threads like this give them exactly what they want.

Wife and I just roll our eyes at the obvious attention-grabbing names.
That said, we LOL'd last night when we were introduced to WalmartStrippr and KmartStripper.

They're only getting it because there's no response in place to shut them down.

I'll agree with that, as expressed in more general terms here.

That's how I interpreted it as well, which I completely agree with. Nothing wrong with being a white cis hetero guy as long as you don't tell people of other groups what they should and should not find offensive.
