I don't think there is any question live was horribly broken. EA/Mythic just stopped giving a darn about the game and kept adding more stuff to break the game without any regard to what it was doing. WAR was the most mismanaged MMO on the planet at the time. Then putting people with Annihilators in the same SC's as people with Warforge? Pretty much the nail in the coffin.. Balance requires a lot of fine tuning and very careful analysis or you can break things you didn't intend to break. EA/Mythic didn't even bother IMO..

Twinking T1's kept me and the kids playing a little longer because our 40's in SOV or under gear weren't competitive anymore and getting 1-2 shot by Warforge God-Toons can only happen so many times before you uninstall.

I suppose if they add higher PVP armor the best way to balance it is to add higher PVE armor. A dual path for competitive gear. Otherwise that same gear-gap may trash this game.

I see heal crits for 3k.
If a Witch Hunter got you for 2,5 means it was behind you, not detaunted and probably having several buffs.
If melee classes can't hurt you properly, at the moment there would be no point in running them, since rdps have a shine period, which I guess will be rebalanced by new armor sets.

WAY too bursty IMO. Dmg should be globally reduced by around 15-20%, that would put those hits around 2K, at least a chance to do something.. Not much, but at least the chance is there.
Love the whining for the "OP WH!!111!" when sorcs and bws can dish out thousands of crit dmg in a cycle of few seconds. From distance.

couldve been the dmg buff from capturing BOs.

also - are you running in a group or solo? what class are you?

why would you advocate GLOBAL damage reductions based on your sole experiences? the WH is a burst class in light armor btw.

Torment crit against a target without trivial blows was like 2k without detaunt. Finisher hit for more. Very possible damage but we all had 7-11k+ HP.
Dying is no option.
