Cause one person's Asshole, is another person's Love Hole.
Seriously though, I think Nice people already see enough of an advantage as it is. No need to Nerf talkin **** any more than it already has been...
Sorry, I had too:P

Re: Inter-realm "Communication"
The incentive for following the rules is being allowed to play on the server. I guess it's also the ability to rename your own character once a month. You can't do that if you've been banned at any duration.
I'm not interested in giving out candy to the thousands of players simply to spite a few. We start at warnings for pretty much any nasty language, once you accumulate a couple then we move onto bans. If players really want to spread their toxic and repulsive attitude, they will be eventually removed. Such players should not be missed, they make the server a bad place for the rest of us.

Hence what I said, most people's incentive should be that they are a decent person and don't want to ruin other people's time on the server, particuarlly when it comes to personal insults between the two factions.wargrimnir wrote:The incentive for following the rules is being allowed to play on the server. Re: Inter-realm "Communication"
If only people were more creative. I don't mind seeing faction/in-game insults at all. It's when you talk about a player, an actual person, and not the character they're representing, that it becomes a problem.maroontom wrote:Hence what I said, most people's incentive should be that they are a decent person and don't want to ruin other people's time on the server, particuarlly when it comes to personal insults between the two factions.wargrimnir wrote:The incentive for following the rules is being allowed to play on the server. You're the worst Knight of the Blazing Sun I've ever played against. Git gud. - rude, offensive, personal.

Re: Inter-realm "Communication"
I understand what you mean, it is important that the community umderstands the difference between IC and OOC insults, and that they don't get personally offended when an RP insult comes along, as it adds atmosphere between the two factions, and the IC hatred between the two factions, however I believe that anyone who actually wants to make a player feel bad about themselves, clearly doesn't understand the point of being in a community, all be it split into two halves.wargrimnir wrote:If only people were more creative. Depends when. These days, the order is sharply farmed and then all the blame falls on the tanks and healers. Fulfilling the dispute, often triggered by destro who play as Order.
Attacked healer or tank recognizes that the better he will also play dps.

IC "insults" such as bickering between Greenskins and Dawi can be refreshing, and lots of people
seem to like and engage once given the opportunity. There's always that one guy though that can't
differentiate between fun battlefield banter and actual insults.
