Its still pretty underwhelming due to having to spec one stat and crit to do damage. The lack of will isnt the issue its the lack of crit. Without the old renown point system that was designed, though didnt work, to have healers be able to hybrid then its always going to be inferior. Better to spec heal and use those saved points for BE spam burst healing. The mechanic sort of covers the stat loss but the crit loss is the bigger issue. The mechanic change is great for healing ams but not much for hybrid and nothing for dps.

You can already use BE and EoV to AOE heal.

With experimental mode, both Archmage and Shaman have their standard group heal and their lifetap group heal. Additionally, they have a semi-group heal (3 targets) with Balance Essence/I'll Take That + tactic.

Khaines Refreshment is a true area of effect heal

Fury of Da Green/Energy of Vaul are now lifesteals that affect entire group, so sorta a group heal
Balance Essence/ITT remain single target lifetap heals. (unless tactic)
-fine call it an AoE heal because it might heal two additional allies nearby

Gheal does not equal AoE heal, Blessing of Isha is gheal, not aoe.

BE + Expanded Control is an AoE heal.
