Ups wrong Thread...
Keep up the good work. Still need dwarven cannons for the Bitterstone Artillery Throng.

Re: Changelog 23rd May, 2016
We had a system that rewarded participation and leechers in hopes of encouraging players to do stuff. First week of T4. Remember? Don't delude yourself saying that the leechers are the small minorityC4init3 wrote: I was pretty shocked what you have said here, to be honest. You are figuring out a system that are leecher free, and in the process you punish those players that contribute actively to zone take. That is not a correct thinking method. Leeching will always be there, players always try to get free stuff, but I would say they are a minority compared to those that actually play the game for fun (i am a heretic, i know). Actually as it is now, fighting for possession of BO yields less rewards, then afking at the keep, sometimes aa the door, etc. Also, the accessory you added are way too powerful, should not be obtainable.

Re: Changelog 23rd May, 2016
I agree the old system "worked better" but I think with repeated failure this new system will only get better. My only suggestion is to give us "a bone" so to speak for BO's. Maybe make the lock timer 3 minutes, but give them 50-100 influence maybe even that amount of RR too.
Sure it promotes some BO trading. But when you think about why people do it. Sure a group of them does this for the pure fun of it as they are RR40 and have all the gear. But the majority of players want influence/renown and that is just not an option in current RvR.
If you make BO's reward "some" influence/RR you'll get more people in the lakes, that is a fact. Once the invincible turrets/cannons/oil are fixed, the keep takes will be much smoother. I think it would only help to get more people in the lakes if there was a small reward from the BO's and to prevent zerging a 3 minute lock timer would promote people to break up into smaller roam groups but with an influence reward for keep takes/defenses as well it wouldn't make the guys at the BO's feel screwed too. Maybe have a separate roll for if keeps are taken for the BO guys with a less chance than the keep for a bag/medallions?
I also think the final incentive that would also be really great is the 50/50/50 kill quest giving 500 influence and 1k Renown. It seems like a lot, but when you look at the amount of kills needed, it really isn't a ton but still, I think the approach should be smaller rewards in more places, rather than a ton for a BO or a ton for a keep, as the more areas with little/no reward in RvR the less RvR you get.
Something like this rewards all combat.

How many times do we have to repeat that the current ORvR system is temporary and not the one we eventually want to implement?Grobbok wrote: lol, it was good, maybe not the best, but ppl were playing and enjoying it
