Damn, reading the usual daily "FIX SC'S FOR THE POOR PUGS" threads used to give a good laugh, but now this is just a whole next level of stupid :^)

Could you expand on that thought? Why exactly is giving Pugs an option to learn, not a guaranteed win, on a "whole new level of stupid" in comparison to whine threads?

btw, wrong character from spawn, that clown is not really anyone welcome in any kind of community :D

peterthepan3 wrote:being stomped is the best way to learn, imo. you learn very quickly: what comp beat you; what classes beat you; what synergies were used to beat you; what you did wrong. a player with a brain can then go home, do their homework, and adapt. however most players simply act nonethewiser and rinse/repeat the entire process to no avail
so why did you refuse to fight us almost every single time unless you were sure we had <5 ppl in sc? because it is fun and good practice? why did you ask multiple times for 6vs6 and dodge in the moment i asked you for the time and zone? you cant demand things from people you dont do yourself either.

though i agree, you can learn from every loss. yet people dont become better by getting jailraped every sc and analyzing what setup they got **** by.

almost every player should get used to all classes in the game. you have to exactly know what one class is able to do and HOW to counter it. after you know what is going on and settled your interface to something clear you can start analyzing fights by recording them for example. see how the enemy is using his cds and find possibilities to counter it. adapt your setup and find the one working for you. dont be afraid of a loss, you will come back stronger if you do it properly.

if you dont do this you wont learn anything from your loss bc you will get steamrolled in split seconds and even if you start looking at debuffs on a replay cam you dont know how those affected your wipe if you simply just play.

a 2/2/2 is always a good setup to start with. it is very stable and allows more missplays than a 1/3/2. so my advice is, form a group. learn everything from waronlinebuilder, get a clean UI and improve your gameplay step by step. there is a counterplay for almost everything in the game you just have to find it and make it work.

I am confused by the fact that you plan to give them bonuses for losing so they can "learn"?

What will they learn? How to fight when you have bonusess that you probably will never have?

All you are teaching there is bad habits.

Unless scenarios change from their current form (which allow premades to fight against solo pugs), this is the BEST advice you will get.

Wait! the idea of a "surrender button" is actually really good.
You can cast a vote for your team and if enough players (2/3) accept the surrender vote, the sc ends and the enemy gets the victory.
( Like in League of Legends )

Edit: and maybe a Display Message: The Cowards of Order are flying the fields of Battle! Victory is ours!

This has been discussed already, it has as many problems as benefits it brings.

Personally, i hate the idea of surrender buttons, if you dont want to play the sc anymore, leave it and let others join and the ones who are in try.

I won a fair amount of scs where the usual "we didnt win the first fight, lets leave" idiots are already out.

As it turned out its pointless waste of time, any info on my opinion on the matter is in my signature. So I'm just here to enjoy the show.
btw, its the best character from spawn

Can you tell me the problems it brings? The only problem I see is that you might lose a sc that you might have won.
