I already addressed this logic on page 4. It simply isn't logical. Let me make another example:

Let's say there was a hacking program on the internet, that let players teleport into a keep and kill the Keep Lord in there, within seconds, and you actually found out that people were using this program. You filmed it, and made a thread about it (Against the rules, I know, bare with me). Then the guys who you recorded reply and say: "Yeah, we cheated. But you can download the program yourself right here." Would you then be okay with it all of a sudden? No, of course you wouldn't. Accessible doesn't justify cheating. I know this is an extreme example, but exaggeration promotes understanding.

It all boils down to whether or not you consider NB to be cheating. Not whether or not it's accessible.

I hearthly agree with all Razids well thought posts. Same with Vigfuss.

It's an MMO, you need to have couple of bars with everything that you'd need to use and pick those abilities/items by yourself. That's a skill factor, to quickly decide what's the most optimal ability to click in next GCD, thinking in split seconds by Just Yourself.

At the same time, reading posts from players defending NB is like watching a good movie, so entertaining. I know you got used to just one action bar, it's tidy and all that good stuff, but that addon is unfair and I don't know why you don't see it yet.
Lots of arguments with MMO mouse. Not every player has one and from what I do remember they cost more from regular good ones, but everyone with 2 clicks has an access to NB.

I know you have a heavily modded UI coz i've seen your Youube videos, how about we remove all those addons, coz they don't give you any advantage in the game right????
Should 3d party programs like TS or Ventrilo also be banned from using coz they clearly give advantages aswell.

assist is a vital part of the game for groups who focus down priority targets at the same time - especially in blob/large-scale rvr. How one can compare this ingame mechanic, i.e. something inherent to the game, to NB baffles me.

Terms of use? Sure, it's was an example of extreme cheating. I guess you didn't read the part where I said exaggeration promotes understanding. NB is obviously not anything close to that bad, but the logic is still stands. You haven't said anything to refute it.

No problem mate, I'd have no issue with staff disabling functionality of all addons so we'll get back to default interface. That's the one I learned and perfected on live servers anyway.

As far as I remember teleports were explicitly mentioned in the terms of use of WAR.
If sth costs money it is not fair because not everybody can obtain it. Period.

And so do I. And I spend hours of setting it up. It's a huge investment of time, to gain an advantage. But the thing that you are completely ignoring, is that people set up addons only partly for the in combat benefits: They also do it because they like to have fancy UIs, myself included.
On top of that, as I already pointed out, downloading addons and setting them up, is in itself a dedication. For me it's about the effort vs reward aspect of it, as well as the intentions involved. The reward you get from BuffHead are there, no one is denying that, but you're not intentionally trying to cheat when you use it, as seems to be the mindset of some people using NB. If anything, addons like BuffHead makes your game more clustered with even more information and icons, that you have to keep track off. It's making the game more complicated, not simplifying it, like NB.
