When trying to launch game I get this error-

I just downloaded the game and launcher. The launcher won't connect at the moment, is the long in server actually down? I can see the nuber of people online slowly going up.

Could not connect to Login server
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 178.32.58.46:8000

Hi, jessamyn!

Do you have an exception set in your firewall? Setting one might help you.

Also do you use some proxy server or any unusual type of the internet connection? VPN is needed.

When I was trying it before the log server was down I think it's fine now. Thank you for replying1 And I'm happy I have time again to play. Miss WAR, good bits and bad.

when trying to run launcher i keep getting pop up saying

WAR.exe - system error

this program can't start because d3dx9_34.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this program.

anything i can do apart from redownload the game ?

managed to get game loaded now all i get is cinimatic credits setting quit . with a blank box on top right of screen

this comes up on running game

System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.WriteFileToArchive(FileInArchive archFile, MemoryStream MS)
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.ReplaceFile(FileInArchive archFile, FileStream newFile)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

Un-check data.myp from read-only.

i also got this problem. i got xp running on my comp [yes windows xp :) old school but cool] i unchecked the whole ordner./ dat.myp. set a free port for it. used performenc rebuilder.. used to try to run services.msc with and and and but nothing worked ... andyes i rebooted the pc several times. but still the data myp problem like nimmz.
pls gimme a hope ^^ for a better idea
