huh? NB reads buffs and debuffs then can cast advantageous abilities without you even noticing the option was available. That is already far ahead of buffhead.

Does NB keep track of the oldest debuff on yourself and others?

People who say NBs doesn't give a player an advantage are being willfuly ignorant.
Is it really so much to expect players to play the game for themselves?

I don't think we will ever be rid of it, without RoR doing illegal stuff. I'm just trying to say it doesn't give an (or at least as much) an advantage as some people seem to think.

Well, if you play a lot, and have good muscle memory, Nerf Buttons may not do anything for you. I know some good players that use it to keybind 1 key to cast, Health Pot, PvP Health Pot, Absorb Pot, Wounds Liniment (free health, pro potion using) Settra,Herald Cloak, Stag Charm. So those players actually had an advantage over me, because I generally click most of that stuff, but they can kite away and spam 1 oh-**** button. That is an advantage.
But the point is, players who don't have all the experience, muscle memory etc, or awareness to analyze situations, buffs/debuffs which create options and openings have a huge advantage over their previous game experience. Those people are streamlined into a robotic experience that generally resembles someone good, because someone good probably built their strings for them. All they gotta do is navigate their bot to the right places.

Witch Elves that fight your WH and using nerf buttons can sever your repel blasphemy the instant you cast it, zero reaction time needed. But I guess that isn't any kind of benefit. Once again it's been a real joy listening to you try to be a self promoter and tell us how good you think you understand the game when you fall short over and over.

I'd argue even something as simple as putting an entire rotation on one button is enough to give advantage to a player using it.
Your eliminating the dexterity (minor as it maybe) needed to hit a number of buttons quickly, under pressure.

Ya, it doesn't sound like the RoR tram can do much about it. I personally find it to be cheap and wish it could be banned, but I understand why it can't be.
I agree, I don't think it will turn a bad player into a god, but I don't like any crutches that play the game for you.
The same exact thing could be said about gaming keyboards and mouses that let you set macros.
Sorc's on live would set macros with perfect timing to have all their damage hit at the exact same time, every time. A Sorc playing legit would have to develop a feel for the class to do this.

Having a set rotation on 1 button has its drawbacks as well, like mez's heal pot example, which can be changed into many other things.
I'm not sure how it was on live, but on this server it takes longer than 1 sec (at least from what I could tell) to update itself on conditions meaning you could end up using a skill you didn't want to quite often.

That's the start. That's only the beginning. Imagine being a blackguard who has like a 10 skill rotation and just spamming 1 button on a runepriest. Then all of a sudden the RP casts morale 2 focused mind, to try and get out of your snare, or to spam group heal, but your nerf buttons deviates from the rotation and knocks him down for 5 seconds, the best buff in the game is completely wasted.
There's many uses, and it can do things most players don't, just because you can program it ahead of time.
