I believe I've read a number of posts where the devs have said they can't put in an IP lock timer.

If it's something complicated for them to do and requires a lot of work, it would be silly to attempt, when it can be circumvented so easily with a 2nd account.
I have not read such statement. Didn't know such even existed.

There's options, always options. Even if the work is tremendous and taking time. Things can get done, eventually.

Yes, but doing a tremendous amount of work, when the by-pass is so simple and easy, is a waste of time and resources that are better spent elsewhere, in my opinion.

Fine. But I don't think so.

The easiest solution is just to get over it(1 - 14 days long imbalance) on one and than on other side until most off players had the gear. We had heavy imbalance on live that was up to several MONTHS loong. We had heavy imbalance in RoR for 20 hors, hours fellas and there was massive whine about that.

We can agree to disagree. :)

I don't think we will see it implemented if it does take a, "tremendous amount of work", because it would take 2 minutes to get around their efforts.

give everyone the gear for some silver and no one has to xrealm anymore to get the best gear asap. but then people dont have their carrot on a stick and they actually have to pvp in a pvp game

The days of pvping for the sake of pvping are long gone.

It might not be my motivation, but I understand the need for the carrot on the stick for many players, so I don't think it's a good idea to take it away.

In old WaR the "carrot on a stick" used to be the RR, you can have the gear but if you dont have the RR you cant use it. If i remember many ppl have entire sets in bank waiting for them ;p
Maybe this can motivate ppl to focus in 1 toon/faction to lvl the RR!!
And devs can control how fast they wana give the gear, adjusting the rr i win in sc, rvr kills BO´s/Keeps, etc...

and now you whine about that. the cycle of life.

if have to grind med's for pvp gear then ONLY pvp should give meds.

pve for pvp gear is laughable.
