I have been playing slayer for about 10 years now. With all the changes to other classes and to slayer itself, this class completely lost its identity. Now it doesn't have/provide anything really unique and it shows in the playtime numbers. Least played dps class or maybe even least played class. With the recent changes the class lost some build diversity as well and became the squishiest MDPS class. The whole slayer 2h rework just seems like a mess. But don't get me wrong, the class can shine in the right circumstances, but that should not be the example. Because other classes shine (can shine brighter) with much less effort in an equal scenario.

We've got a bona fide popcorn thread folks. My slayer is like 40/42. I'll leave you all to it.
Fley - Zealot Domoarigobbo - Shaman
Squid - Squig Squit - B.O.
Black Toof Clan

This is a very fair and accurate summary of the Slayer's current situation. Thanks.
