You do understand that in threads such as this, dedicated to solo balance, mostly people who are exped within solo scene would reply, right? ;p Thus the concentration of people in such threads who discuss their solo experience & concerns.

And those who arent exped with solo roaming & its fine nuances would simply avoid posting in such threads (and it is actually an adequate decision, e.g. I personally would probably avoid posting opinions in, say, quantum mechanics forum threads elsewhere since my level of knowledge in the said subject is insufficient to maintain an adequate, educated conversation in respect to the same).

Which specific words from the original post gave you the impression that this thread is dedicated to solo balance?

I think it's more a case that most people roll in WBs and press 3 buttons, so they don't know their classes or other classes as well. Also, in blob vs blob settings with tons of abilities, buffs, debuffs, CC and whatnot flying about, imbalances are much more difficult to discern.

So true, man. That's why you are also playing 6v6 and city, right? Because you and the other solo players wanted to learn how their class performs in a teamwork setting that is more demanding on your individual skill as well?

Precisely. It is now, after it's been swarmed by the local population of solo players. Which is exactly why I am saying, that the forum is populated only by solo players. And it's utterly hillarious, and also a bit sad.

Each and every forum thread that has anything said about any specific class from 1st page onwards quickly becomes solo balance thread.

Working as intended since 2021

Also surely majority of solo heroes (forum ones especially) are too cool for 6v6 or cities

Yes because these solo players came in and made it so that half the thread about RP/Zealot is about nerfing witch elves. It is my solemn hope that you, and other soloers that swarm the forums, pause for a second and just consider how absolutely hysterical that is.

Lol, a conclusion of someone who isnt aware how this thread was created and why exactly people had fun humoristically discussing WEs/WHs initially in a thread which has RP/Zeal in its name Nah, instead ego had to be shown, sneering at people had to be demonstrated. There's much less ego protection in solo than there is in the other modes, so players are more inclined to feel strongly about it and motivated to post about it.

If a player dies in any other content, the reason for that death is diluted amongst many sources of blame such as their group, the blob, balance, etc. And with so many other players around, the death feels far less personal. They've just been killed by some random AoE in a blob by someone they probably haven't even seen.

However, when a player dies in solo, the only remaining cause is class balance. The death is also much more personal, as the player is the "loser" and another known individual is the "winner", causing a direct challenge to the player's egoic sense of self-perception. Hence why it's so easy to tell that a thread is a solo thread made by someone just after they've been killed. It's personal.

Solo balance discussions have always been and always will be a waste of time. Some classes are just naturally better at solo than others, and if anyone thinks that they'll ever be able to balance BW/Sorc to be as viable for solo as a WE/WH, they're delusional. That's not to say that certain egregious things can't be looked at if they serve no purpose in group play but have a disproportionate effect in solo (def WE for example), but I don't think I've ever seen someone argue from that angle, as they're not interested in group balance, only solo.
