The QoL stuff is good here, devs are good at that.

The class balance here is completely god awful.it mostly consists of deleting what your class is good at and giving it to WE.


Ideal would be to keep the QoL stuff and reset the terrible class changes.

tons of people crying about unbalance/broken/op yes it was but the truth is that the game was FUN it was very FUN every single class had peak that's what makes it so fun not in this server where white lion is the most powerful melee dps

while live choppa /slayer were machines everyone feared, ID was powerful choppa pulls were pulling mara was crowd control engineer was tanker/ pure bombing AoE etc.

and most players i would say almost 80% of RoR now its full of new players none of them played live that was the real game, i do like playing on this server but its not fun anymore like it was back in 2020, i just miss live the FUN was alive but no fun has been fully killed

I really don't think going back to the original server will fix anything. As much as I liked WAR, people also look at it through rose tinted glasses. There was a **** ton wrong with it.

RoR got a lot of things that are objectively better than WAR, but there are also a number of things that desperately need to be fixed.

1) Fix the campaign and make it meaningful again - it's what made WAR unique
2) A number of classes have more built variety, I'd argue, but in general balancing needs more work.
3) Stop dumbing down the RvR by reversing incentives (e.g. crests, RR, etc) and mechanisms (e.g. WB blob crowns) that encourage the whole zone coalescing in a single spot.
4) Encourage multiple types of game play - WB, 6-men, solo.

At the moment the core issue is that RvR is like a game of football of 6-year olds, where 20 kids are all blobbed together chasing the same ball, and in 95% of the rest of the field nothing happens. They're all furiously kicking the ball and each others shins, but only use one or two abilities.

Stop dumbing things down. Make the campaign epic. Sort out balance. Give WB, 6-men and solo players a chance to have fun.

The most problem of current state of the game is that defensive is way more over offensive, which bring this deftard metas and long fights. Fights must be fast and dynamic if you solo or in wb, bring back old morals which helps with get throw blind defense and this 75% block tanks line !

Sov or Tyrant must be way more powerful than they right now, what the point of farm all this tons of crests if you get a bit better than vanq which is ultimate decent gear set. Bring back 1.1 gcd, im like in
slow motion when just trying use potions

Classic was so horribly unbalanced it's literally what killed the game, and it wasn't an each side had a broken class sorta deal it was an entire faction was so overpowered it was pointless playing the other faction, if i recall destruction was vastly more played then order.

Been a long time so can't recall exactly but from what I recall i played healing shaman and i was untouchable and made my team basically immortal.
