A bit of honesty, the ini/ws patch was the second biggest mistake by the devs. The first remains their refusal to acknowledge it.

A bit of honesty, the WS patch made at the beginning of this year was the biggest mistake by Devs. Acknowledge it and attempted to fixed it was the right path.

Not pointless at all.
Maybe only for you
I assume the rdps has spoken lol
I can speak objectively because I do not have rdps (except for t1).
Mdps are still in the game and with the right pressure they don't give rdps any chance.
The patch changed nothing in their firepower but only reduced the amount of parry they should never have. The stats that give offensive abilities and also defensive ones have been duly changed and finally make sense.
The number of mdps in the game has not decreased at all.
I would also add that the amount of parry mdps has zero significance in a fight against rdps because they will not parry it anyway.

I say we should add spell strikethrough, block, dodge and also maybe just remove wounds and let WS be health pool also. Not strong enough yet imo, has to do more for offensive and ALSO defensive side.

Personal feedback on this patch after having done the new dungeon, new city PQs, the full live event and a decent amount of RvR to test the bonus renown and fortress tale mechanic.

The dungeon: I think it serves as a good tutorial for players to try to teach them the basic mechanics of the game. The tuning is maybe a little tight for the intended levels/brand new players, genuinely a harder dungeon than Gunbad or Crypts mechanics wise. The secrets are fun too as are the new appearances. I hope that the coding, mechanical design and polish demonstrated here continues in to further dungeon design where we can see clearly defined mechanics (guard swap, cleanse, interrupt, etc.) which require solving to defeat instead of just tank and spank like many dungeon bosses are.

The city PQs: Nothing too crazy here, but it's nice to have more gearing options mid game especially in the form of weapons.

The live event tasks/rewards: Overall good. I like the killstreak mechanic a lot, it's good to have some extra reward for not dying. The deathstreak mechanic leaves a little to be desired, as it is hard to stack beyond 1-2 stacks and is removed very quickly making it sort of pointless in my experience. Objectives are easy enough to complete, although the fortress one is a bit tricky if you aren't online at the right time. Rewards are cool, infinite beer mug/title and a unique weapon appearance. Pocket item is alright too, love farming renown off greenskins 2% more efficiently.

The fortress tale telling idea in general is something I'd like to see more of. Evergreen game systems have the potential to be fantastic additions and I'd love to see more of them tried out and added permanently based on feedback (recurring Sigmartide relic running mechanic please).

In short, I think that this patch introduced some nice things and also some gameplay systems to consider for the future.

PS: thanks for fixing the bugs I reported ;)

Said it before and will say it again. Great patch. Great refinement to the gaming. The event is awesome, except for one detail.

TOO MUCH PvE. Now maybe if someone is trying to complete it on one or two characters, it is just fine. Usually I try to get events done to my liking, on anywhere from 6 to 10 chars. I have 19. So far I have it completed on 3 characters, and even extended my game time from 2 to 3 hrs per day to 4 hrs, and on Sat to 6 hrs.
NOTE: Part of the long time was waiting to find people to form a group for the t3 and t4 PQs.
10 or 11 (?) must complete PQs, 4 of them hard, for one event PvE goal. And 5 stages completed of some (thankfully) easy PQs for a second PvE goal.

So far I have done only the greenskin and elf PQ sets. I have yet to touch Chaos. And I am hoping to get some of this done on some Order characters too. I hope.

I thought of that as when i looked at it i was like holy wall of bug fixes batman :) ... I am always willing to take suggestions though if anyone thinks something can be more eye appealing or easier to read/digest. Thank you

To everyone involved in this patch a huge, thank you. I am telling you now many of us spent well more that 50 to 60 hours a piece on certain parts of the dungeon, rvr, cloaks, voice lines, videos, scripts and etc for this patch ... I have been on the team less than a year and I can tell you its many hours of love put in for you all.
It's wonderful....the hard work and dedication of the Dev Team is greatly appreciated. We get lost in the passion for the game at times and squabble but I believe most of us simply want the best game possible. I have told people countless times, there is truly no other PvP game like this one......it has been and still is the best :-)

Sorry, but I haven't seen anything about this at all. Probably the absolute lowest level of a mea culpa.

Please Add Blue PQ-Coins to the City PQ-Bags.
At the moment you get gold with the item, or total low level items no one needs.
