This! When 1 faction zergs, 2 can kind of work together to beat the zerg and then turn on eachother. I dont know if would be possible to add third side " Neutral " And players can choose to Join it with destro or order chars. Somehow if you can use Ranked Solo no factions or restrictions Rules in RvR.

I was waiting for the lore purists to shoot down introducing the Skaven being introduced as neutral a/o 3rd faction. News Flash. The game is already in lore violation mode. Greenskins never allied with Dark Elves or Chaos. Ever. Hard enough to keep them from fighting among themselves.

i havent played daoc, but i played gw2 wvw a little which is 3 factions/servers like in daoc. and i can confirm i saw such scenes a lot of time, a team that dominates is so strong that not even combined 2 teams can do anything to them. what to do in such situation if you're one of these 2 teams? attack the other one and hope to get as much as possible, untill numbers change.

New 3rd faction (skaven or whatever) would be nice but it's simply wishful thinking considering the required resources (staff/time) that are probably way more than those the development team has, unless ofc you dont mind waiting until 2040s.
What Sinisterror proposes could be the basis of a working assumption but even in that case don't expect results in two weeks

Can partially agree as follows for organized vs organized. The pug vs pug or organized vs pug is not so interesting balance wise.

Small scale - order has edge , but not a small scaled person so only know at arms length dwarf KD reducer and some speed movement things,
24 vs 24 order have advantage in funnel areas due to slayer and bw but in the open unless the group stacks slayer (slayer stack seems to be more noticable 4+ ), pulls as such only effect premade vs pug , organized the pulls are just free immunity.

24 + if order has slayer stack then order wins if slayer stack is organized, combo of dwarf anti cc tactic and rampage ID.
If not slayer stack it’s relatively balanced.

And reason why order lose LoTD is can’t just blob and ignore the mechanic. Often order have lost but got more kills.
