Sure, but Order has more tools to help their team and be tanky. Lets not pretend they dont.
Yeah, but you won't make people play tanks because they are good in wb setting, some solo/small-scale appeal should be there.
well, IB it's the king of smallscale. Also, SM is extremely strong. Its damage output is incredible and can really make the differences in SCs, specially in Ranked
About SM i need to disapoint you mate - it does not work this way especialy in rs.

You know there are no 'good guys' in Warhammer right? The Empire is a controlling death cult with secret police, the elves are an anarchistic lot living in their ancient glory days with a horrible rot at their core, and the lovable dwarves are isolationist xenophobes. Destruction side is, well obviously just as good, maybe they enjoy things a bit more than they should, all good. Playing for looks is fine and dandy, it's how I roll. Just don't confuse Gimli for Gotrek, they are different species.
Oh wow....well I ummmmmm......I guess I need to brush up on my Warhammer lore ...thank you for pointing this out...lol.........book / cover......got it :-)

No one mentioned that SM is the only tank that can go 2H and have a HtL-like dodge/disrupt channel, something incredibly useful for when you're low on health and being focused? I'm ashamed at all of you destro apologists....

BG is very good in solo roam, does more dmg than IB, brings very good group debuffs, is the best tank in ranked. again, SM is BO but weaker in some aspects and probably a bit harder to play
Even if what you wrote were true (and this is not the place to debate it), you complained about a lack of "small-scale utility", but neither IB nor SM suffer from this supposed lack. Actually, the main IB's complaint is that it lack large-scale utility. So I think this is not the problem
I'm a fan of swapping the location of parry buff and runic shield. Runic Shield is useless and even with +2 from sov you can't get what you want and its unfortunate.

Well, that was my experience. I don't play SM and I have abandoned my BO (don't like the class mechanics) long time ago, so I will not debate your assertion. Still, the presence of a SM in party has make the difference for us in many situation.

You said it: "i'm a fan of swapping...". No one oblige you. In many situation it's enough to buff just one person. what I like of IB is exactly that you can play it in lots of differents way, one of which is exactly the buff bot.

Also, playing BG I can tell you that BG too can't take all what it needs even with sov +2 mastery point. actually the situation is even worse for Bg, since its most powerful tactic/skill are higher in the trees than IB

I play mostly during EU primetime and since September I'm playing with my guild on Destru side, even thought we are long time Order players.
You start a thread wondering why there's a population balance with that statement?

Ignoring the rest of the thread.
But what exactly are you missing. Or do you mean getting both parry tactic and healdebuff at the same time while being 2h?

That. Not that I actually need both, but it would be nice.

P.S. Also the AoE snare, which is always cool
