Have you also fixed significant +/- MMR points for win/lose in a first few matches?
In season 1, when you were unlucky and lost most of first 10 games you would be deep on minus MMR and need dozens on wins to be again above 1500 because first games gives +/- 50 to MMR while laster you getting from... 2-4 MRR for win/lose.

That's how Glicko rating works. It's not something we can fix, and we're not about to invent some better algorithm. Just take comfort in the fact that everyone else is being rated under the same system.

no one said dps am was better than a mdps. dps am>rsw and engi however. no one said grace was better than salvation either. grace can be really strong if you have gear and aren't specced glass cannon. its also op in 1 ranged 1 melee matchups where it gets a free guard.

at this point you have to accept ranked solo is more about luck then anything else.
if your fun is linked to your mmr play premade ranked.

Ok so we are in agreement. Why then are inferior specs allowed in ranked SCs? The leaders of this project have already demonstrated their willingness to enforce certain config combinations to guarantee 2-2-2 (even though 1-3-2 is possible) and even prevent dps healers from sneaking in. My original statement is only suggesting that this course of action is extended to envelop the entire group of builds that are incompatible with 6v6.

Quite frankly queuing with an off spec is rude and disrespectful to everyone else on your team. It's like showing up to city with annihilator gear or without pots. It's the same level of blatant disregard for not meeting the minimum requirements of competitiveness to even give your side a chance to win.

the new city contribution system is strange:(
we have 6 man in city with same pug with us, our party was top 1 and 2 in dps and dbs, top 1 and 2 in heal and top 1 and 2 in protection.
all 3 stages was tank and heals from 1 to 4 in contribution (all 4 just in diferent position in diferent stage) but dps was around 20 (my self was 19, 20 and 24) :(

Probably death count plays a big role in city siege contribution(at least thats my guess), so if you actively play and die alot in a losing match you get less contri from others that just go afk at the spawn. Apart from that there is also a big RNG factor so your roll might just be unlucky too.
