Gold will be 0 for everyone at day x?
Equipped items will stay or will be removed to nude for everyone?

Although I understand the decision to do something about the exploiters, a reset to 0 Gold seems too harsh for me. What I'm worried about is next. People will be in need of coin again and newcomers need gear so the farming of Souls in IC (don't know where Order farms) will start all over again. With just a few Souls spawning the place will be overpopulated.

I also believe item wipe would be a mistake. Maybe exploiters were able to illegitimately buy the best gear for crazy prices, but some who took the time to farm to buy these items deserve to keep them. Honestly, as soon as t2 opens, all that gear will be useless anyways.

Let me ask you these simple questions.
1. If I sell item X for 20 000 Gold on AH does it mean I've earned 20 000 legit gold?
2. If someone mails me 20 000 gold is that legit gold?
3. Do you think cheaters should get away with it or not?
We all loose here. I just hope dev loose interest in creating a game in their free time to a group of ungrateful players.

Si feel to be undependent in your decisiion, and y all have my humble support.
Cheers

I fail to find a reason why people put all their effort in grinding items in an alpha.
You basically ask for losing your hard earned stuff.
Don't spend all your time for farming! Just play the game. You don't need the best items to have fun or win.

The exploiters have now already invested all their gold in jewelries, weapons and gear. Some will try to store gold in mails during this wipe I could imagine. If you decide to wipe all gold + the backpack content, they will save their expensive gear and jewelries by equipping alts. This will most likely only punish the honest players.
The only way to do this in a fair way would be to wipe all gold, backpack/vault content and equipped gear.
I think many would find it refreshing to start over.

Only if the droprates get fixed, but they are also aware of that. Guys simply stop theory crafting here and just let em handle it like they plan to do.

As some people still fail to understand the basics of this problem and think 500 gold per item is a legit price (the numbers are completely fictional and just there to show, that banning the exploiter alone doesn't solve the problem):

So the idea behind your support of the Great Wipe was hope that the developers will lose their interest to the project, the project will be stalled and finally closed?
