That's true but me and my mate can go back to it plus iv'e done quite a bit of it back on live and to do it all again just feels like a chore, One of the reasons I hate re-leveling after a while.

You will still get the occasional x2 event but the developers have been very clear that they have no interest in fast tracking people to rank 40. That will likely never change, I've seen enough of the same suggestion shot down completely.

1-40 in RoR is not a prohibitive amount of effort, especially not compared to other MMOs. Its a straight fact that showing up to oRvR at rank 40 without decent renown rank to go with it makes your character fall behind in base stats compared to someone at 40/40. I ended up playing RR catchup on this character but none of my others. Its worth taking your time.
