good way of putting it, tbh. =P
The communication and logistics aspect, aswell as tactical movement are the very thing large scale revolves around - or should, atleast -, I totally agree.Scrilian wrote: Communication and logistics, morale and sneaky tactics, etc. gets involved, besides large-scale fights are brutally quick, where you have to adjust on the fly within mere seconds, unlike i.e. 6v6 where you can fall asleep before anyone dies or sc's respawn camping - all those things have to be worked out and add an extra layer of personal and collective "skill", which is pretty much absent in all other small-scale activities.
I could also imagine an elite guard of NPCs; a reinforcement of sorts matching the racial pairings, to start streaming into the lakes and patrolling the BOs, starting from the respective WCs, for a set amount of time (10-15min, depending on zone and distances to be covered) upon hitting +200-250 AAO, and returning to the WCs once they are done patrolling their route(s).dansari wrote: Certainly intriguing ideas. I wouldn't want to see it until 80-100% aao though. Would want to also scale it to NA.. it's already hard enough to take a keep during NA without being vs 80 aao
That'd be pretty neat, tbh. Tossing players at random from a zerged zone and engagement into empty, yet contested zones could work out, too. Provided people are being tossed into the middle of the lake - away from the flightmaster... with their Book/Scrolls/etc on cooldown. :pAkalukz wrote:I believe there is something already in game that could be tweaked possibly. Was it called Winds of Change or Winds of Chaos... that would randomly teleport people out of the zerg depending on population percentage in a certain area.. IE Blob

When was the last time you did or have even seen a 6v6? This isn't live servers, you know.Darosh wrote: As to individual and collective 'skill' (I much rather prefer the term efforts, tbh) in small scale, 6v6 is, indeed, a snoozefest - very engaging for those involved until a certain treshold is being met; no one, as you've pointed out fancies to circlejerk around for 30min hoping for an opening.
