than why disciple of khaine is viable as dps byt warpriest not? its because of disciple dualwield?
This + some of his abilities are simply better (with certain specs)normanis wrote:than why disciple of khaine is viable as dps byt warpriest not? its because of disciple dualwield?
snare 6 sec cd 10 sec nice ? So Wp is fine now yes?Arteker616 wrote:u have snare , ini debuff, thoughnes debuff, and more armour most mdps haveAshe wrote:I believe that we need one change that has already been introduced a long time ago. We do not have an armor debuff (impossibility of stacking weapons skills), we do not have CC, CC break, and we do not have RD and CW. There is no initiative on DPS sets
it still better than choppa , slayer with guilt tactic u can turn it into 100% uptime snare , you have the best detaunt 15 seconds duration agaisnt 5 of slayer , choppas . wich u can use it on rdps before go into the mele , rd and cw? yeah neither do any other mdps , initiative? slot lis or buy it with rr , meanwhile u have more armour than other mdps and without a hindering mechanic for ur survavility.Ashe wrote:snare 6 sec cd 10 sec nice ? Wp dps is totaly viable if u care to make it viable, sure its not that easy as a standard mdps , sure but thats the problem with a hybrid , u get tired of mele u can always fall back to heals, mdps doesnt have such luxury u know.
what u trying to get at all is basicly a wow ret paladin .
This is also what I think about Wrathpriest. Its quite decent, especially for PuG Play etc. But if you play it longer, you start to really miss out some of the "standard-toolkit" other melees have.peterthepan3 wrote:To be fair, Arteker does raise some good points. Even in Wrath, you do tend to have a lot more survivability than other melee, have access to melee heals, quick rez, parry buffs, etc.
The class does need to have some inherent weaknesses, and its lack of mobility is one of these. I just wish it hit a bit harder when you actually get to the opponent
very, very easy to fix that, and i believe such ideas were brainstormed/carried out in .ab ex.Fallenkezef wrote:The problem with WP dps is you always end up with a self-healing tank.
This is not altogether a bad thing but there had to be a trade off. A self-healing mdps with the same output of a slayer or WL would just be broken
If you are running Wrath, there is no chance that you will be able to "fall back to heal" our casted heals become poo-poo with our -40% on our healing abilities. DPS WP is not viable (in a meta 6v6 sense), but if you build a group around a geared one you will poop on any PuG, which can be said about any class/spec regardless of viability.Arteker616 wrote:
