War is probably the mmo least designed for dueling in history.

Really though war is about rvr. Plenty of other games out there with far smaller scope to their pvp. Want to fight in war get in the lakes or scs.

Id did say that this turning the game into a social network would change the spirit of the game. You need to always ask why even though it was clearly in the game or could have been added very easily things like dueling or xchat were removed.

When i made the post,i had no idea that this game is still in the TI zone progress.I agree now that there are more important things devs need to focus,but when their job would be done,and duels would be an easy option into the game,there is no downside whatsoever not to do it.

The "play another game if you want duel" it's one of the most stupid argument,ever.I **** LOVE the lore of Warhammer and also enjoy duels,so doing duel in another game is not the same,mate

Maybe dueling the opposite real outside rvr has no downsides. There are huge downsides to dueling your own faction. You'll have arguments and trolling people calling others out as cowards. All affecting realm identity. Your meant to be on the same team all dueling does is damage that. Thats why it was removed.

Everybody will understand duels are not balance,not here,not in RIFT,not in a single MMO outhere.....if the devs would stop adding things in game because people "would troll" there would be no context,no gameplay...trolls gonna troll

The game is solely based around realms. Thats the whole point of it. Having people on the same side wanting to fight each other, waving epeen around and calling each other out totally ruins that. Go fight the enemy. Theres plenty of other games for dueling war is uniquely a large scale balanced realm vs realm game.

yeah,bunch of trolls yelling "i owned you/l2p/noob"after some 1vs1 will totally ruin the game....Again,hypothetically speaking,if you don't like duels,don't do them,let the other players enjoy them...no point in beeing greedy and take the pleasure from others.

There is no solid argument against duels(we realise duels aren't balance and people will troll no matter what)
