Yessssssssssss! Been waiting for that! I was sure that someone from the team told that #Devdiarycomingsoon

then its maybe time to ask for a healer or tank to mitigate that. And if you get ressed you wont suffer anyways. I see no problem here tbh. After all its a group game and not a solo rpg, right?
Because theirs always a pocket tank or healer waiting around
Espically during NA
Most of the time there actually are. People just dont bother to properly ask. But there are also others who potentially could group up, but just dont care to join. Nonetheless the people are there.
Aha, so because people are "theoretically" there, this backs up what? lol...

I wasn't aware that blue and purple drops had been removed from player tables. The reason they were there and not in PvE was to encourage people to PvP to get stronger rather than botting mobs. Now that the situation has been reversed, I expect there will be further botting.

I hear everytime its "Alpha Phase" and we can't implement all, that the community/we want to.
Okay, explain me this: Why make "BONUS WORK" that nobody asked for? Honestly for new players this "Battle Fatigue" is completely a BAD MOVE... Hopefully we see a: Okay we made a wrong turn here and remove Battle Fatigue again... HOPEFULLY! *shakes his head*

Just make a guide on how to spot botters, and give like some kind of GBP to players who report them to a GM. Also seems like the GM's are like in some kind of competition late night NA to find botters. Are they keeping score? Pretty sure asuyran is in 1st place.

Just because you cannot comprehend the deeper sense in the economy behind this change, doesnt make it a bad move to do. And the "Bonus work" has been explained a ton of times already -> different people have different construction sites.

My thoughts exactly.. People will now group up to go and farm city mobs instead of grouping to go out and RvR. With the price of siege items, flights, talismans, pots, and now heal costs, its pretty hard for a player who only does RvR/SC to have any gold. I realize the best items are still coming from RvR/SC but those blues/purples will still sell for a lot of gold, even if its from salvaging only.

If its true what I've just heard, its obsolete anyway. Have a nice day.

This happens anyways... People group up for PvE content all the time.. If you ONLY do RvR/SC then that means you have no tali's, no potions, and no ability to gain anything other than SC/RVR gear. Your lack of gold is entirely irrelevant, since you are lacking so much other crap. And if you get it from guildies, well guess where they get it? PvE. Players farm PvE regardless if blue/purp loot drops or not, cause we need a lot of different mats. We need those epic weapn/appearance quests, we need those Dyes, we need Gold, etc etc.
Aza was discussing their battle against people Botting. You seem to be pointing out that players grouping outside of PvP is a bad thing... Also, city mobs is only a thing on Destro side:P
TLDR: If you don't want to do PvE, don't. But the argument that not doing PvE makes it really hard to get the same benefits as someone who does farm PvE is annoying.
I However, stick with my point on Page 1. Battle Fatique should be balanced with the function on Live that made a player worth incrementally less XP/RR/INF each time they where killed. It'll be balanced out, and will work as intended, and all the hate will go by the wayside. Eventually. Alpha, player experience, and all that...

Rather an oversimplification. I oppose items in PvE and not in RvR not because of wanting things easy, but because it works against the strengths of the game and what our GMs can deal with.
The most interest in this game is not in the PvE that we currently have, and I'd go as far to say that I consider the type of PvE most often done for power increases, which is either farming PQs or simply farming basic mobs, as being one of the most idiotic concepts ever promoted. It's not interesting and it's not getting people into RvR and the lakes, which is where we need them.
The second problem is that it can be botted, as happens any time a developer attempts to subject players to mind-numbing tedium in order to progress in a game. In fact, the existence of bots is a great thing in this respect, because it ensures consequences exist for designers who force players to undertake routine and tedious tasks capable of being automated by a machine. In our case, this means that far from doing anything, people will use disposable bots to farm for gear and trade off them to get the gear into circulation.
The idea of having blue and purple gear drop from players only was never meant to be a temporary concept. It was meant for players to have their ultimate means of progression through the actual purpose and concept of the game, which was fighting the enemy realm. In this vein, SC sets are also a great idea. I don't support any concept being exclusively PvE until we have PvE that is worthy of the game, and not basic AI which would disgrace a Sega Mega Drive game.
