It would be rather interesting to see how the game would change without NB though ;p just for a week.

I wouldn't mind a ban on NB if only for the sake of hearing the next excuse.
If we're talking about the skill visibility, you can always set addons like Aura to show you that a skill that requires certain condition is usable, and you can put it somewhere where it's visible and non intrusive to the gameplay. Now, you might not have perfect timing that you might achieve with NB, but those skills are stronger than the ones that are always available for a reason.

When someone cries about NB you can bet that person got outplayed and needed to whine about something be it NB, xrealming or whatever. NB can be a pain in the ass as much as it can help you and that player who destroys you will destroy you with or without it.

As others have said NB isnt the only addon that can be seen to give an advantage over players who dont use it, the list is endless, for me i use it because i dont have a gaming mouse or 3 hands.

If ppl really must see it removed or changed just get rid of the conditional settings and if that happens it will be interesting to see what other excuses ppl come up with for losing.
I know you're fond of the "X is crying/whining cos he got outplayed" explanation, and it might well be true of some people here. But since there are others who seem pretty clearly not to be motivated by that, it's a largely irrelevant point.

Your point about other addons also giving an advantage has already been addressed: it's a question of the extent of that advantage, and the type of the advantage that it can provide, namely the complete removal --in some instances-- of the need to make conscious gameplay decisions.

Re your "for me i use [NB] because i dont have a gaming mouse or 3 hands": neither 3 hands nor a gaming mouse is necessary. Seems to me you haven't read the whole thread so I'll just re-quote myself:
Zealote wrote:I'm currently playing on a laptop and using a mouse with no extra buttons (except mouse-wheel which isn't assigned to anything), and my only lvl 40 chars atm are IB and BG. It just requires being a bit... creative with your hotkeys.
And to elaborate on that: I have everything hotkeyed (that includes morales) except potions.

Im sorry but if your are complaining about NB like the op and many others do its not because they go undefeated, its because they suffered a defeat and looked for a reason, its far easier to blame something you cannot control then to look at yourself and what you done wrong, whether they say this is the reason or not, its a whine, you dont see the more experience and better players calling for a NB ban, you see the weaker and less experienced players calling for a ban, dont get me wrong not hating, been there myself i use to spam csr reports back on live when i was new to the game purely because i didnt understand the game or i listened to hearsay.

As far as other addons, target ring and buffhead prolly play a bigger part because they allow you to see player icons behind things like buildings/keep walls etc etc, same for any addon that allows you to mark your guarded target and have the range so you dont stray 1ft out of range, its just easier to jump on the bandwagon and complain about something more commonly hated.

I play on a laptop with no mouse, using the touchpad, to save myself keys, 3 keys on my shaman, 2 keys on my choppa, 4 keys on my bw, 2 keys on my kotbs i use NB AND its it makes me do things like using an extra gcd to apply the same dot twice, having to reloadui mid fight as my key with cleanse(that also has shrug it off on the same key) has bugged out and i can no longer cleanse stuff, sure it helps me but it is also a pain in the ass.

so you're all saying that having something in the game that enables you to play this by just walking around and pressing one button is fine .. and that the 'pros' probably even use it to make themselves even faster *sight* is acceptable and normal. Man excuse me but i'm one of those ignorant people, who still believe that giving most the choice of becoming better or cheating, most would say they want to become better but i guess not, if there is a thing that does it for you and other already use it why not, imo because it's not you, anything in this game that is not you doing things just makes it even simpler then it already is ( and becomes unfair in pvp )

Now enemy never got the problems with it, but i only use it for the wb templates and the kill counter so i never really got why people say you get something that makes others be at a disadvantage but i guess this is just me being an innocent little naive non-cheater, in the end it's like all things you fight them you kill them they kill you, if they use nerfed buttons and you can catch onto it just do a cheeky little /puke on the body and run.

its a joke ... don't ban me pls XD

you're saying that only inexperienced players complain about nerfed buttons, but like you very pointed out nerfed buttons affects them the most, since a player with not much experience vs another non experienced player using nerfed buttons who all know who wins, but why should he win so easily that's the point it's not even fair. So if for all the high end it's all the same then remove so the noobs can has funs ( fair funs) too, huh how about, since most of you already got off of calling anyone who wats a fair game noob at least give it to us

I think you greatly exaggerate how effective this addon is (see the bolded part).
