What gear power spike? You can easily get Ruin for your characters, do an epic quest or 2 for weapons and be competitive. Unless you don't want to invest the time and just want to do SCs wearing lvl26 green gear and still be competitive.hulkhug wrote:Amount of premades in scenarios lately is just disgusting + gear difference makes it even harder. hulkhug wrote:Amount of premades in scenarios lately is good as it is indicative of people wanting to form groups and play together to win their 6 emblems!
That was a plan to be honest (gear farm becomes more tedious with more characters). I just wished we had something like GW2 system where it is just about the looks. Won`t derail the thread anymore.Penril wrote:What gear power spike? You can easily get Ruin for your characters, do an epic quest or 2 for weapons and be competitive. You are talking to someone who has 21 lvl 40s. I know how tedious it can be. Still, it is pretty easy to gear up a few alts and be competitive.hulkhug wrote:

The new system heavily favors premades, so unless you're playing Order it's going to take you years to get a full set now, since Order has premades running all day.Penril wrote: You are talking to someone who has 21 lvl 40s. You are being too dramatic. Just last sunday i was soloing on my lvl 35 BW (https://www.returnofreckoning.com/armor ... e=Cipriani). No heals, no tank, not even another DPS to assist. Did SCs the whole time (while doing PQs for Ruin while waiting for pops). Lost some SCs, won some. Logged off with around 70+ emblems, almost at level 37 and gained 3 pieces of Ruin in the meantime. By the time i hit 40 I will probably have full Ruin and have my SC weapon. Pugging. At rr25. Fighting against some destro premades in SCs every once in a while.catholicism198 wrote:The new system heavily favors premades, so unless you're playing Order it's going to take you years to get a full set now, since Order has premades running all day.Penril wrote: You are talking to someone who has 21 lvl 40s. 0 - 500 stream rolls FTW!
"Form your own premade"
What PuG-premade is going to want a fresh r40?
As much as I'd love to play the new SCs- it's pointless since I won't even be able to leave the spawn point- I rather just roam and try to gank solos.
PuGs vs PuGs are fun but those are very rare.
There are ways of solving the gear power creep but they involve sacrifice, and I expect opposition.hulkhug wrote:Amount of premades in scenarios lately is just disgusting + gear difference makes it even harder. I wonder if this gear power spike will ever be changed.
