Apologies for recent tweet spam -- live tests were sent to twitter to see what we could get away with as far as spacing and additional characters.

Think it's gotten to the point where you should only tweet when the server comes online and now every hour.
So sad it's gone...

It seems more than a few of you would rather have the status update when things change and not have a new tweet every time we check the status. I still think having a recent update is better than an old one (if you've been checking the site, you know this pain).

The following updates were made based on feedback:
- new version logs status to a file on server
- we compare the current status to the last status
- if different, we post to twitter
- tweets no longer get deleted automatically

Updated the live version with this functionality enabled. Testing it out for now -- at least until RoR is up and running again.

Gutted the server is down so often due to DDOS. Even started playing GW2 again, that's how bad the boredom is.

I'm hoping on the Eternal Crusade train on the 22nd. Going to use that as my backup game for when this is down. Which unfortunately seems to be often.
