Regardless of whether an official topic for the purpose of announcing server offline/online is accessible to the community or not, people will always create the same topics asking the same questions.
Final conclusion:
- Keeping it close allows for easy and quick access to confirmed information relayed by staff.
- Removes the spam and the general hate/saltiness of many players, which end up into a pissing contest. I will add that this might not end well for people, putting them at risk of punishments.
- People don't read nonetheless. However, when such topics are posted, they will either be locked with a link to where to find the information or deleted.
Making a spam topic for people to do whatever they want will NOT happen. I refuse to allow for any forms of topics where people will think won't be moderated. This will not happen on Return of Reckoning.
RoR staff have lives, we sleep and we can't always be available 100% of the time. So there's always a possibility of a delay. Deal with it.
Got questions? Emails are available and we allow players to PM us.
