Exactly! Use proper classes to get desired result. Don't yamm, if you chosen wrong class for your goal. If you want to rule solo - go dps AM, if you want to kill warband - be an effective part of own warband
Never being able to play certain classes competativley in prime time orvr seems bad.

Some of us played the whole way from beta. You have pres that spend all their free time in game and did so for 5+ years. How do you suggest those people that are just coming back who stopped playing 7+ years ago and just play casually get good? Quit their job? Divorce their wife? Put their children up for adoption? So they can play a game to catch up?

I hope for a game that is fun for everyone not just aimed at a handful of those vocal on the forums. War was aimed at realm vs realm not the leet cod mentality some seem to wish.
I know this post is a few pages back but I had to address this stupidity.

Yes, 'git gud' is a perfectly valid argument. If you don't 'have time' to minmax, whos fault is that? Just because you decided that you wanted to keep busy with real life instead of playing videogames does not mean that it should cater to your needs and limited playtime. This is called casualization and is what ruined many, many, good games over the years. And its always people like you who cause it because you whine about the above.

If you can't handle this fact I suggest trying many of the casual games out there made for people just like you who don't have time to invest in a game. Maybe Angry Birds on your smartphone, or League of Legends on your PC. You could buy a console and play Call of Duty. But no, instead you come here and whine that people who put in more work than you are going to play better than you and have a gearing advantage over you... in a MMORPG. What a shock.

Oh please. I had minmax characters on live and will here.
Im talking about the majority of players that see this for what it is an mmo not a dickwaving contest. Get good is a lie anyway as Ive seen plenty of those that post on here be pretty damn average when someones not telling them how to play on vent. Get whatever advantages you need to be good si what they really mean. This game has no ladders, no arena and no voicecomm. It isnt the game you make it out to be. Lets be honest the REAL good guilds and premades we all remember moved on to more active competitive games a few years after launch. All we have here is big fish syndrome.

Guys the best way to counter aoe is dont play for def directly on the spot of objectives and spread and you do not require a classes composition to do that if all the zerg stay in 1 spot where enemys wb is bombing they deserve to die if they altedy fail to see 4 times that enemys wb need to be stationary to aoe with caster classes. Which is why melee train became a thing in war, un-snarable aoe was real in 1.4.0(togheter with other reasons of course

i'm up for st fail classes close the gap with st good classes and same way for aoe but i do not think aoe is so much unbalanced how ppl draw it to be. it is unbalanced when the enemy take all the aoe in da face...
