i dont understand what you're saying, but yes i do play wow and the pvp is fun there too.
PVP is at lowest it has even been in the wow. Wow is built as PVE game mainly with a sidekick that called PVP that blizzard stated on many occasions arena implementation was a mistake. Just because you finding its fun it does not mean its thriving on any level and that many other share same enthusiasms about wow pvp. Its is only thriving in comparison to how many players in there and here.

First 3 months of WOD, 10+ mil active accounts, now 5 million active accounts and we will never find out actual active accounts anymore since blizzard decided not to report active accounts anymore. Gives you a hint of how they doing right ?

Last season of MOP arena ladder was approx 15x of people to what you see now.

In my personal experience beginning of wod i had 30 + people active on a friends list all 2400+ now 5..........

In cata/last season of mop it would take me appox 15 min to find a healer. Now playing casually at 2k it could take hours, literately hours.

Right...and how many people are playing Warhammer Online, again?
Sidekick? There's a reason arenas were ESL, and if you're saying the PvP was easy (current WoW is a bit meh, but 3/4 years ago? WoW was untouchable for smallscale) then lul!

It might just be my amazing bias since I was a DAoC and WAR fanatic.

But in terms of the PvE, i was left constantly bored, and never felt like there was a challenge =(
daoc is love. Uthgard relaunches soon!
I know, I already got in with a decent looking NA guild to run with as soon as it is open. Im so excited!

People still pay for subscription games? :o

Jokes aside it is hard to compare most modern MMOs to WoW as few still use a subscription model.

And in any case amount of subscribers is not necessarily indicative of the games quality. Wow had a fantastic marketing team and budget behind that. Something most MMOs back then and since have not had. The game itself is quite basic, Unoriginal and boring... As it was made for the lowest common denominator, very sensible for making money, but many games around I would say are better for one reason or another.
