Sure, powerlevel to t3, and only then start to play - only way to gain rr a little faster. Nice way to play, nice advice to a new players.

For me it's quite simple. Full wipe = complete and utter "stop playing time". I've invested TOO MUCH time in this game, and i won't invest it again, dead tiers, disbalance in rvr/scenario, grinding for days, no, thanx, i have many other things to do/care/live for.

What would be wrong about investing the time again, if the game is fun and you have a social network?

well I invested over 2 years of my time on live server (through 3 Beta Wipes up to the EA Level Cap Exapnsion) and I gladly did it all again when I found RoR.

Personally ive been on 100's of Alpha and Beta tests for MMO's since around 2001. Im used to FULL wipes, characters deleted and all. I would however Protest to that level of wipe mostly because people will steal names and a whole lot of uncomfortable BS to follow lol

Admittedly I wouldn't be very happy about losing any of my precious, extremely valuable junk I've collected on my 16 characters, but I do hope two things are kept no matter what: character names and appearances. I really wouldn't want someone stealing my character names (and thus ingame identities) because I wasn't fast enough on the character creation screen.

I would not like a name wipe other than the name Dom, so I can stop having to spell it Dawm..... I mean who took Dom?! I literally never see this guy/girl? I just want Dom

Ahaha so true about the names, I have my main names from live stolen here and have NEVER seen them online, pretty annoying, maybe they can wipe accounts that have been banned/not logged in for some time, to free up those juicy names for us

I'm almoast sure a wipe would kill the game.
I mean it's a level progression MMO, people who have played longer or invested more time into one character will have better stuff then the guys who start new. You can never escape that. If there would be a full wipe and I am wrong and people actually don't mass exodus. Then some people will invest more time then other and be ahead. And as new players come they will be behind. So the only way to to get around this is by wiping it consistantly every few months. And i doubt people would like that.

If you wanna keep lower tiers alive mass wipe isn't the answear. The answear would be giving the players a reason to play it. Also a system that would scale scale down, ranks, gear, and disable abillties that doesn't match lvl cap in that tier could help. But you would still need higher ranked players a reason to go there.

Maybe something like a t1, t2, t3 exlusive live events that happens after a pairing in those tiers are locked that rewards the winning players with acess to a dungeon that drops item lvl jewlery equal to Sovereign gear or something like that. With lockout timers ofc.

Wipe gold out, especially on Dreamhouse ^^ Medallion wipes would be nice for t4 as dirty bastards with full deva keep stealing medallions keep thinking they can use them in t4 and get majorly ahead. Hope that wont happen.

If a wipe truly happens some time after T4 has launched, I'm not bothered about what I loss of items and what not. But I'm bothered by the fact that I'm forced to level all the way from 1 again. I HATE leveling with a passion. It's for me am unneeded part of the MMO-genre that has just stuck around, because people expect it to be there.
But the argument for it is always the same: That you're suppose to learn to play your class, while leveling it up. Yet you see people at max level in every single MMO, who have no f***ing idea what they are doing, neither with their class, nor the game and it's core concepts, in general.
It's a pointless and tedious exercise that is outdated and simply a waste of time. Now, I suck it up in WAR because I know the endgame will be worth it, and I can take it in small portions at a time, each time the cap is increased, and rested exp makes it a breeze on alts, most of the time.

But if I'm forced to go all through the game, in a race to get to T4 the fastest, where you have to group up with others, and secure the best farming spots etc etc. Thanks, but no thanks. And it's gonna be like that. People will tryhard it. And if you don't yourself, you'll be behind right from the start. GG?
