***On-topic now, so by reading this thread and others like it, I gather only two things, people like to zerg and people like to always be on the winning side... both of these facts are indeed the same thing guys, zerg = win, win = zerg, this is Warhammer remember, we are in tier 3 we have tiny maps with 1000+ people online at peak you cannot expect anything less to happen right now.

There is a solution for this that the players can do themselves:
x-realmers who openly announce they're an x-realmer should be /ignored in-game by anyone who doesn't agree with x-realming.

X-realmers should not be invited to groups and if joining an open group they should be kicked and banned from joining again.

A forum thread dedicated to listing x-realmers character names will help us implement this system quite easily.

The key is to make them feel unwanted and push them out, we don't want or need these people should be your attitude.

Just browsing the forums you can see peoples signatures showing their x-realming characters and reading the anti x-realm threads shows you all the people who x-realm and flaunt it..

Unpopular opinoin:
It's not a realm lockout issue.
It's a player issue.
People cross realm after one whipe, cuz it's only fun when they win, preferably with numbers advantage ( oh noes we might die, let's wait for an extra WB just to be safe). One whipe, 9 times out of 10 that's the end of RvR, come on now.
If that's the general idea of fun on the server then once the lock will be implemented people will just log off and go play DOTA. Or w.e

Do you see why this won't accomplish anything? I enjoy playing with my freinds and people I have met on this server, whether it is on destro or order it does not matter to me. Aside from RPers there is no incentive to have realm pride unfortunately, and the best idea I have seen to save it is to make top end character progression extremely slow and essentially infinite so your attachment to one character is extremely high and discourages making any alts especially on the other side. But right now I can hop on destro, get PLed to 27 in about 4 hours in the arena and start shitting up ORvR/SC's and be level 35/40 with almost full dev in no time.

Wow..... make people unwanted and pushed out... Really? Well I hope you dont mind, BUT I just categorized you as a low life who cries because the zerg got busted because people switched realms.
