I did enjoy TOVL on live along with LV, and Bastion.

But I really really don't wanna see the lotd gear come back.

Tyrant was not too bad on it's own, and people forget that it was really hard to get a full set, unless you were very lucky, similar to Sov before the change. It also had the same problem as other sets, for some builds / classes it rocked, for others it sucked.

But the really nasty thing about lotd was the jewelry sets, and the lotd tali's, they gave such a huge increase in damage and heal bonus, that completely outdid everything else in the game.

Then you had Odjira, and the AP drain tali's, and the pocket absorbs.

A rank 40 rr20 with annihilator and the 3 piece jewelry set, a blue lotd weapon, and + power tali's had more damage bonus than a rank 40 rr60 rocking Invader / DP / influence weapons and keep jewelry.

It completely turned everything on it's head, and the jewelry sets made pretty much all other jewelry in the game near worthless. PQ drops, keep drops, influence, tome unlocks, other PvE drops, all got gutted by 2 sets.

If LOTD is to come back to this game some of the equipment from there should be put within reasonable parameters at least somewhat in sync with PvP jewelry etc, not insane like they were in live.

Or the other way around, whichever may be easiest to alter I guess =o

Making LOTD speak to players as "Here, come to me - I got some neat jewelry and stuff for you"

As opposed to live "If you don't come here; You're a mongoloid"

Nod IMO ideally LOTD stuff shouldn't replace other gear but instead complement or support alternative builds

So alt appearance slightly different stats etc to create more varaiation instead of killing variation.

I also feel there needs to be mechanics in place to ensure you can have full tyrant at 40/30. No It was no where near the same effort to piggyback/glitch bosses to tyrant compared to reaching RR80.
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7
