Dot ticks don't add hatred or build combustion. Its on cast same as aggro pull.
All are stated as on hit. The hit referring to dots is when its cast.

A level 12 BG just hit me for 24k AA damage in the SC. Is there a new oneshot bug?

I theorize that no buff or debuff effects are ever being removed. If that's the case, Brutal Smash could be stacked over time for massive Strength.

ye also ranged attack that suppose to hit when animation end hit you when after 1 second after ability being used

Seems now BO tactic (48stam) isn't working. Tried using empty tactic slots to see if HP dropped and no change.

Just pasting this here so we remember how combustion used to work even though mythic devs were about to change it.

I dont know how the damage scaled on level. What I know. Full mechanic damage taken was around.
lvl 40 = 750
lvl 45 (rr100) = 850

Base damage was something like.
lvl 40 = 300
lvl 45 (rr100) = 340
So I would think it would have been something like 100 + 5 per level and 10 for renown levels?

Damage steps worked like this.
0 - 60 = Base damage
65 - 95 = 2x Base damage
100 = 2.5x Base damage

Burnout for instance took you just back into base damage.

Im not sure of the exact base damage values or how they changed with level these are very close though.
