Also let me say as someone who hasnt played order for quite some time, mara's are a joke and do need some tweaking.

Well, I actually don't play fester except in keep defense. I actually play heal debuff with KA tactic. Actually, come to think of it, only 1 person in our guild runs fester.

I remember the immunity to armor penetration combined with the high armor possible with RR80+ armor sets being one of the main issues. It made for a class that did great damage, had great utility and was very tanky. I have a Mara here and played one on live. They get crazy strong. I'm not asking for the class to get nerfed, I believe in buffs > nerfs. I think the other melee could use some lovin compared to Mara/Slayer.
perfect response! And you're exactly correct on why there were complaints at the highest levels. yeah, as a WH on live, after they were buffed, I just avoided them in T4 unless i knew it was a baddie, you couldn't beat them. I'm all for buffing other classes or counter-classes but then TTK can get dicey.

Balancing WL to Mara is silly because they aren't mirrors. The WL mirror Squig Header pet mechanic and the SW mirrors the Mara stance mechanic. Mara get extra stuff to balance that they don't get a pet and SW get extra stuff that Squig Headers don't get to balance they don't get a pet.

Coming on the forums to derail an AAO thread with Marauder whine is sad. I don't see Order running to the forums to talk about the 2-3k festering arrows you hypocrite.

I believe he meant that you can`t have all of that in one spec. Which is correct.

I agree though that Maras need some toning down (specifically, their survivability). But not unless you tone down Slayers too.
Just out of curiosity: how is Mara survivability and Slayer *something* in any way linked? Are the two classes spiritual twins that you can't effect one without needing to effect the other?

Let's talk back when slayer wont more spam undefitable aoe damage, with spamable shatter limbs, that for the above cannot be defended against and also do the same damage mara do ST --aoe.

It's called "Realm balance".

Both are mDPS
Both are OP and better than the other mDPS in their realms

Another option would be to leave Mara/Slayers alone, and just buff Choppas/WLs (and maybe WHs/WEs?). But this would reduce TTK even more. It is simply easier to just ask for Mara/Slayer nerfs.

What we can all agree though is that Magus needs some serious nerfs.
