X realming and why people do it...

Why do you care? You only play one character dont you? You will be rr80 before altoholics get to rr40 on their second character.

They will need those bonuses in order to level their alts. You won't.

The only issue I could see people who only play one character having is with increased gold.

I don't see why increased exp or renown would matter to them as you said.

By implementing a switch timer people should not be able to switch characters within 12h of play to avoid heavy imbalance. To avoid such matter they can create a new account and roam freely yet again, but how many of the current X-realmers are going to create a new character to grind one more time with same name, items that the previous one possessed? Not that many.

Unless... The server blocks the IP-adress and puts a restriction so that the IP-adress can only be accessed by one IP-adress at the time. This would decrease heavily the current imbalance.

Or... Force people to stop X-realming in a other way.

There are a lot of times we play at the same time. Lockout would pretty much mean, one of us can't play.


Tho, to be quite honest I X-realm in reverse. I hate zerging, so whichever side has the zerg, I like to play the underdog, more targets to kill.

It sucks being on the zerging side, spending 30 minutes to find a couple people, just to have 10 people add to your fight and 10 v 2 them.

As long X realmer will be alive here RoR Orvr will stay on the same way. When t3 will be out zerg order going tio farmed Rve morning afternoon not night maybe. So if you can drop 5 medals from keep take zerg will be full geared on 1-2 day

Nothing is hindering you from creating another account and asking the Devs to transfer the character from one account to the other. It doesn't hurt to roll a new character if they don't offer such service. You've got plenty of time. Also this would help the community to grow and stay.

I believe I've read a number of posts where the devs have said they can't put in an IP lock timer.

If it's something complicated for them to do and requires a lot of work, it would be silly to attempt, when it can be circumvented so easily with a 2nd account.
