I think it's safe to say that a year without grumble'n'mutter is 11 months too long. Bring it back please.

Sure, This skill isn't offensive, it gives more resistance to IB, but IB is A DWARF and all know their resistance ! IB just die a bit more slowly... inveitable death...

Devs give Offensive skill to BG, but can we really compare it ? The new skill you gave to IB is really useless, and I really think this tree is not used yet at his full potential by any IB...

BG is more tough, more offensive... what else ? Restore Grumble to IB is just logical and will not unbalanced game

the new skill is definitely not useless, not sure why you would say this. it's being used by almost all IB in organized smallscale who have a double melee party, actually it's incredibly powerful ability. much better than a mediocre heal over time honestly. giving 25% AA damage buff to class like SL, WL, WH is quite powerful.

Slayer only gets 5% AA dmg buff because Accuracy tactic is -20% AA dmg lol. Agree it is a good buff if you have WH friends. Can’t say about WL as they don’t properly smallscale now since they have broken pet.

Tldr: order has been so nerfed that is just a 25% buff to WH AA and the other two mdps are watching the game from the bench.

Boo-hoo they nerfed slayer. Whaaa WL pet broken.

slayer isn't going to run accuracy in smallscale all the time. you take double stat tactics + short temper + push for more for ST usually. in this context, with push for more, the IB AA buff becomes extremely potent. anyway, even in situation you do run accuracy, it cuts the negative off of it which is very nice for cleave comps when they go for kills and for general pug farming in SCs.

for WL it's huge too, AA on WL in ST and smallscale builds is very big you're autoing for 1.5k+ crits easily against armor debuffed target with his guard punted away. the pet works just fine in those situations btw if the player knows how to play the game and micros the pet well. a lot of skilled lions are playing just fine with pet rn. it's totally fine to use pet in roaming and scenario and there is loner ST variant that some are playing rn too for which this buff is great ^^

arguably it's probably the least valuable on WH of all 3 of these, although it's still great.

autoattacks are typically going to be between 20-30% of your overall damage dealt in smallscale situations when training targets down, so buffing it is very good. most good players in group content are going to desire this buff a lot more than a mediocre heal.

my suggestion would be to make grumble a baseline ability, earned in mid 20's or 30's, with slightly reduced potency vs its old mastery variant for obvious reasons, to just act as an extra piece in the kit.

Anyway I plan to main IB this year, so baseline grumble would be pretty sweet.

Also a side note. I only recently realized that the autoattack speed increase from, Stubborn As Stone, also effects your oathfriend. The wording on the Career builder only mentions the corporeal buff; but if your oathfriend takes magic damage the %50 auto attack buff will proc on them as well.

A reminder that SaS costs a mere 5 grudge, and has no cooldown. The synergy looks pretty decent.

Grumble functioned as an AP pump for the party with told ya so, i don't think the new ability surpasses it even in a group setting since it does nothing for healers or little for rdps or tanks, AP pump is always very useful.

Anyways it needed not to exist in in the first place since most IB's were happy with Grumble n Mutter, it was useful to the group and very good in roaming. Now the only questiom is if the devs will deliver their promise of returning it or shall another year go by.

This is actually an interesting point, since Grumble n mutter( and BG equivalent) were balanced as 13 point abilities, now if they are returned as baseline that would be interesting.

One thing that could justify baseline Grumble(and bg skill) is the big nerf they received prior to their removal, with coolddown starting after the ability ended.
