To the topic:
Any faction general dmg/heal/protection X% change is very bad idea.
And because we have xrealm factor here, it is totally unfair too. (People will abuse that on daily basic).
So we are searching for some reasonable ways how to support the underpopulate side, but still maintain challenge and fair play. Thats a difficult task.

- bonus to renown (current state)
- some PvE adjustment (vandering guards, heroes, lords) but who wanna PvE in RvR area?
- stronger siege weapons for the underdog?

Still no brilliant idea here.

I know that there are other games more complex than RoR and to be honest, I don't care. I agree with you that RoR could be simplified in certain aspects (in particular the arrival in T4 of players with e.g. Renown rank smoothing, reduced Vanquisher requirements and a Conqueror revamp, etc...) but that doesn't change the problem that a lot of BiS players don't understand their role in SC/RvR, which what is the assist or a guard, a detaunt, or the kiting.
hmmm maybe there are such people, but i think most of these guys know what to do, and maybe just dont care for this reason or other. i've certainly noticed in rvr that big organized wb have some beefs between each other and will sometimes leave one another to die instead of having an interesting fight.(this could also be purely coincidental, no offence to anyone :)). wouldn't be surprised if it also happens in sc on personal level. for instance maybe some tank was guarding some dps who was hitting tanks, while he thought his healers are bad at healing, so he just ignores protecting dps at one point and just runs around like fool. a lot of people in sc will also simply not try if they see on opposite side some well known names or if they dont have healers, while enemy does etc.
