Criticism About Currency Change

I’ve been leveling a choppa alt and trying to do it as a “new player pov” aka no friends helping get gear. So far at lvl 33 RR37 I’ve been able to get / save for Merc gear and saving for sc weapons. I do see how it’s annoying to have the gated/ward system but so far I haven’t had much issue least keeping pace with next gear sets yet.

Any player in their mid 20s got kicked in the balls. Fresh players it's fine.

My shaman started with the new system dinged 40/58, I had 3.5k war crests saved up and enough genesis to buy the 3 jewels I needed. Old alts got screwed, fresh chars are super fine.

I made new chars because of this and transfered all earned gold and BoE items to the new chars. Sold all possible items to completely "salvage" the old char.

i had 2 mid toons before change, they got a kick to the stomach with this change, strangely new characters are fine - all in all a very nice change
