I am not sure if it’s meant to be disabled , aura was a powerfull tool for chosen and KoTbs , that’s why you needed to twist them and have a large visual effect. Big power were needed to be seen by everyone , like the VFX on stone pocket item in “return to ekrund” event to you turned to be a important target. Someday , a new mechanic for aura will be implemented cause twisting can be auto applied with a single addon . Aura won’t be clic and forget forever.
But some players such visual effects only interfere. We played before without these effects, and everything was fine. Plus they can have a negative impact on fps, which the game and so the problem...
You played without this effect because it was incorrectly applied to every player affected by your aura , causing huge lag issue. We disabled them until we were able to apply it only on the chosen or kotbs. Now it doesn’t cause more lag than any other vfx you can have on you . It wasn’t fine for ppl who doesn’t knew which aura you got and now you provide really good boost for your group but you’re also more visible and that was the purpose of a powerfull aura .

Indeed, it is more noticeable. My character now looks like a big noticeable rotten pile of trash.

Exactly. Or as if he had received a strong electrical discharge, and the hair stood on end, as in bad comedies.

Noted. But fact remains that this is how its supposed to act and work. I wont comment for if we decide to change something or add an option to disable it in the future but this is what its supposed to be like.

Thanks so much. I really hope that there will be some possibility to disable such effects.

[Scenarios]
- Tweaked the scenario matchmaker slightly to provide more balanced matches.
After few days it feels this change really killed the pops, feels very harsh atm.
