Then I don't see how some pulls fire off, when the range is 65ft and you ride away during those 2 sec, because the 2nd check should give out of range msg.
Or is the cast time already over, when the tentacle appears?
Dying is no option.

Positioning counter-play would mean getting out of range works. Actually mara starts cast, you ride away on mount and still get pulled after a 2sec cast on 65ft range. This feels wrong.
As Mara it feels the opposite. After a 4 sec cast the Target is out of Range. Thanks to connectiondelay.

Wasn´t the first buff for mara pull the change of the range check (no longer at the end of the cast, but somewhere in between)? Can´t remember if it was immidiatly revoked, when the impossibility to defend it from the back buff was implemented and don´t have a lvl 40 mara to test :)

Is it possible to apply the cooldown to the mara pull at the beginning of the cast, but decrease the cooldown for next try to 10sec when pull wasn´t successful due to LoS or interrupt?

Mara pull now is on ( finally ) str, it was on int on a pure str class.
It has 2 second casting time, you can parry it, block it, or the tank in your grp can interrupt it.
Now terrrible embrace works as intended.

So animation dont start when button is pressed? If you change that will be good

You know what, Order RDPS has it too easy. Marauders do not. Make Terrible Embrace range 150 ft. and undefendable.

Destro needs this one guys. Let them have it.

150 ft? Seriously? How are they going to even? 200 foot pull seems more inline with a 2 second cast time spent. Also GTTC should have it's range increased as well. these guys are suffering out there.

Is there any way to add a debuff to the pulls? Like if the Mara or Choppa or Magus is able to land the pull (I know it never ever ever happens) but if they land the pull, can it apply a damage taken increaser to the target? Say a 55% more damage for 8 seconds?

That would make Pulls worth all the trouble of trying.

Successful pulls should also give the puller a temporary run speed buff of 30% for 5 seconds like the WL gets.. It's only fair.
