Have to say GoM argument is kinda funny.
Is GoM up all the time for mara's?
Oh wait, its a proc chance. But that argument is only viable with explaining that wrist slash tatic is not OP
Is negating my 900 weaponskill equivalent to decreasing your init by 80 and your ws by 120? Oh and mine's a tactic and yours is passive with a stance.... if you really want to get into specific tools.
I was not talking about spesifics. My point was that you made it sound like GoM is up all the time. It is not. Yet wrist slash is fine now because its a proc chance. Maybe it was only I that found that argumentation funny.
However, the balance forum is the perfect place if you want to make a proposal to change GoM.
Another funny thing tho... It was mentioned earlier how squishy an ASW is when glass cannon, low wounds etc. Which is a BS argument because its the same for every dps going glass cannon lol.
BUT there is nothing special about your 900 ws

Which means nothing if you have skill and moral armor debuff because 0 armor non penetrated still mitigate 0 dmg
Yet you won't do the same comparison by double debuffing ASW armor and then bursting with a WE, which is perfectly viable in 6v6 meta currently? Show us the screenies.

Of course it's not up all the time. And neither is Wrist Slash. So my point stands: is your core passive with stance negating thousands of weaponskill equivalent to me negating your init by 80 with a tactic (b/c that's really what you're complaining about regarding ASW)?
Sure, ASW is similar to other dps glass cannon. Why do you only acknowledge its damage then, and not its weaknesses?

You talk of 6v6, yet you do a 1v1 comparison. Like mentioned before armor debuffs negate GoM rather well. All about that synergy and team play.
Sure, ASW is similar to other dps glass cannon. Why do you only acknowledge its damage then, and not its weaknesses?
Because its weaknesses are not greater than the weaknesses of other dps?

lol 1v1 comparison was the basis of this discussion. I would only prefer to focus on 6v6 viability, but you're forcing us to talk about how GoM and Wrist Slash proc similarly, and let's give an official shout out to Gravord showing how 2 players is better than 1.
What weakness do you perceive each mdps faces, and how is ASW better than each?

Did not say ASW has fewer weaknesses than mdps, simply said it does not have more weaknesses.
Not gonna make a list. Main thing mdps had over ASW was charge and snare immunity. Which was the argumentation used for giving them all the mobility tools. The toolbox an ASW has is rather good, and with morale meta change it might have an edge over mdps. Access to m2 is very fast now, but the m1 cleanse is also fantastic.

Do you really put in same line proc on stance you dont want to go or you loose whole dmg vs insane proc on base spam ability that you get right off the bat in every fight?
As for debuffing ASW armor, we gonna pretend here that assault stance doesnt double armor talis value and you can beat tanks on it easily while still having mad dps stats on double buffed WS, INI and str cap, while making your target +50% more to be crit?

Did the devs really put guards up outside of the talabecland warcamp to prevent people from hiding behind the trees?

If the ini debuff is a 50% Inc crit debuff on you, it simply means you are doing pretty much everything wrong. It's not all that hard to make the debuff more along the lines of 5-10% max.
Anyhow, good luck getting that SW of yours competitive, you might have a few rather harsh lessons coming your way. Hopefully you won't take forever.
