Don't know if it was internal, but the ad piece on /mmorpg, Reddit, has his comment talking about this again. Either this happened recently or he's holding a grudge.

you know they HAVE to, after some time take action, right? Blizzard didn't shut down Nostalrius until it was FORCED by the law to shut it down, the Nost devs said so, and blizzard themselves said so. They do care, just not right now.
"The honest answer is, failure to protect against intellectual property infringement would damage Blizzard’s rights. This applies to anything that uses WoW’s IP, including unofficial servers.” executive producer J. Allen Brack on the battle.net forums.
That's about WoW and Blizzard, but the same still applies to WAR
Less likely to happen here for a variety of reasons.
1. WoW is based in the US. - GW is based in the UK, different laws probably.
2. WoW was still undergoing active development. - GW stopped development by not renewing the license.
3. WoW was their own owner/operator of the IP. - Mythic/EA no longer has rights to the IP. Nothing for them to protect.
4. Nostralius at one point did accept 11k$ worth of donations. - RoR has not, and will never accept any sort of donation. We are very clear on that.
5. Nostralius had a massive playerbase that rivaled, and surpassed legit MMO's. - RoR can handle 1400 online, although not well.
Not that we're really interested in poking the bear, we just want to keep the game going and essentially hope we're a small enough fish with no money to sue over, that they wouldn't bother.
I would like to add that the only reason i've bought any games (Total War and some 40k games) has been because of this server peeking my interest. It would be foolish to C&D this server cause I cant be the only one that has bought games cause this server

This just seems like a belligerent guy got caught doing something he shouldn't do, so he wrote a long-winded shitpost.

Did I read correctly the guy who wrote this works in some capacity for either GW or that website? Because if so...damn...whoever hired him should be hiding their head in shame. That is one of the most poorly written POS articles I have ever had the misfortune to read. I thought about copying the thing and grading it for both structure and grammar. But then I already know it would rate an F.

He doesn't work in any capacity for GW. He's a guy that got banned and he's an admin of that website apparently, and that gives him power to make all of his sophisticated ****-posts in there.

RoR is even mentioned in the official Wiki page of Warhammer Online
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer ... _Reckoning
If GW was ever bugged by RoR, I think they would've already taken action

I have had one issue with a gm.
He spammed happy weekend as a server message and I typed. "Why the spam, did xxx get laid?"
And got harassed in a sc for my comment.
Nevertheless, I did not get a ban or suspension so I havent pursued the issue.
But my friends left the game because of that incident
