It shows that the RoR team did not have a clear plan cut out, which is not unexpected after Azarael left. So instead of saying that "we don't want to make any balance changes or touch the experimental modes", you could have said that the team is discussing their position on this.

Now as you said your position changed on the balance matter that also means you can start adjusting the AM/Shaman experimental modes. In the end I believe it is only good news that you start working on balance again.
You might note the Balance forums are now under the Administration section. They're still locked, but will be opening up with Gerv taking over Balance Mod duties once again. Then, depending on what sort of legible data is presented, we can talk about making adjustments to all kinds of things. The BG changes were not pulled from a single thread, but from many threads, including several that were already discussed at length on the balance forums. Torque feels he is capable enough to make significant changes to abilities, so that's probably going to be his pet project for a while.

Until he stops and decides to do something else of course. At which point we might shut down balance again, much to the sadness and disappointment of all you special snowflakes that think you determine our course of action. Please. We value opinions, but don't try driving the development process. That just annoys the people who do this on their free time, unpaid, and already deal with whines about what every possible viewpoint on how any particular specific thing should be done. If something is wildly broken, which am/sham is not imho, we're always very tuned towards correcting it. Chances are, if it's not getting fixed, then your opinion is not shared by the team. Form a better argument/proof, and present it with proper respect.
Thank you for this information.

In terms of the experimental mode of AM/Shaman, the fact that all the good small scale teams run Shaman/ZL or AM/RP I think it is fair to say it is too strong at this moment. For large scale, AM/Shaman is also a 100% must have in any group because they are by far the best AoE healers. But we can discuss this better somewhere else.

So say the player has 7% chance to be crit. @ 90-100 hate and the 45% crit reduction, the 45% scales with the players 7% only reducing the players chance to be crit by 3.15%. So the lower the player has a chance to be crit the less it scales. I just tested it out on my BG who for the test had a 18.7 chance to be crit. Got 100 Hate, pop FoF for 45% and it reduced it by 8.41 giving me a 10.29% chance to be crit.
It may be that the character window shows it differently, which may further mean that it worked on the mythic server as you described it. The .getstats value shows what's coded on the server atm.
The last time i tested it was exactly three month ago (the screenshot is from 22.01.17).

So if y'all are willing to work on BG, any chance of the WP experimental mode coming back?

"- Modified group XP distribution to scale based on the level of each person in the group - the lower your level the less XP you will receive per kill."

And there goes any future alt that I or 95% of my guild will ever make. That was really the last way to PL.

I honestly hope that this anti-lvling changes work for you guys and create a proper t2/3 experience. And even more so, I hope that people actually appreciate it. As for myself, and those I play with, we've had our fill of lowbie tiers w/ less than 3 tactics, and barely the abilities to do our classes job. Not to mention slow mounts...

Is their a larger level type code in here than what I am thinking? Is it now bad for the level 19 to group with a lvl 22 friend and try and get XP or is it coded where there has to be more of a level difference ie lvl 19 teaming up with a lvl 30 friend? I ask as in NA (est) for me it gets a little bit more harder to choose whom you can level with with this type of grind. Also if you are leveling in RvR and you are in a group with higher leveled friends in say T3 will you get less XP based on your level or will bolstering make us all get the same XP?

By the way BG is my favorite class to play on Destro so can not wait to try out the new changes, ty for your efforts.

As I understand that, you get xp based upon YOUR lvl in relation to the mob that was just killed. IE, if you are in a group with a lvl 15, a lvl 20, and a lvl 39, the 39 farming 40 mobs, the 39 should still get a full share, but the 20 will get less per kill, and the 15 will receive even less than the 20. Who knows the rate it works at though?

So you can't just get a tank/healer out of group to hold a mob for you while you kill it. The XP you gain is based upon YOUR rank now.

And the answer is Yes, ORvR/SCs are now the BEST way to lvl.

I feel the same way as you, but don't really care about the mount bit. I really wanted to level up a Sorcerer and a Choppa (I'm not loving his name) but I don't think I will anymore. Tmid just isn't any fun.
