I see you have a good point of view of an RP project and you have a good proposal of Players Organization.
Reading at your explanation is little complicated. In addition english is not my native tongue.
What I understand is that you look very well prepare and it is cool for me
I understand you propose to create 2 guilds for 6 characters, Roles like Story Tellers and so one ...

For me, I would be glad if we can make a try with a base very simple : race, carreer, level requirement, objetive, etc...
Then we can enhance by additional features.
Also, we need to create a topic to start the RP Story.
To be very popular, we need to find a Project Name : so all the community will know about it.

I thank you for your feedback on Tera, if I understand well it is the MMO Terra.
I agree we have to take in account the IRL which impact the IG.
It is important about the level difference in Role Play ? Yes if we play some Actions IG ? But event, One of the PC will be less power full. Isn't it the case in Movies for instance were HL balance the conflict.
About the Project we are talking about, we need :
* a strong core with players having defined roles
* a planing in order to advance issues
* a scope which can increase according to the project if everthing are going well
* a tool to synchronize and to coordinate like a telchnical topic in the forum
* a delivery like a public topic in the forum where we publish the community story
* the most important : the Role Play Governance = The rule how to lead the project

You explain if you try to do it by our own it is not easy : I agree 100% or you exchange IRL with IRL

#About my experience on MMO

* I was Guild Master on Drakensang Online for 5 years
* I lead 5 guilds because of the limite to 50 characters and on the great times with more than 200 members.
* I managed : the member turn over, the guild events, the members complains, NPC for hidden guild events, Member training, etc ...
* I took care of the guild forum, calendar, tutorial, layout, forum structure, daily post telling about guild members actions, etc ...
* I wrote 2 comics of around 20 pages on our guild telling about its story and I made a guild video presentation for one year as a project we had between us.
> After 5 years of this IG live I decided to transfert the lead to several officers because I wanted a new experience close to Role Play something I was also implementing in that previous game.


This message is just to tell you, I am available to work on this project.
I use to play IG every evening of the week between 9/9.30pm to 10/10.30pm or on the RoR forum at the other hours.
Today I am a chosen, level 14 with 2 weeks experience on RoR

Ah a fellow RP guild leader! How unexpectedly pleasant! (NOPE! I've retired from such managements in order to write a novel Though I'd be happy to participate and assist with plotting.)


T'is certainly sounding like we've a good few dedicated - enough IMHO to keep such an arc together and moving - I look forward to keeping up to date with this project.

I don't think that doing a levelling Campaign would be best, because the community I feel is not willing to make a character get 40 levels, while having to be on at the same time, and doing RolePlay between every single quest, it may be possible on a single Tier basis, for example, T1 in Nordland and Norsca. However I think the project should still just stick to a storyline spread over a couple of weekly events. I am going on holiday for a few days, until Staurday, so, I'll think some ideas for a storyline over.

Hi all,

I will be out for vacations around one week.

Otherwise for the first role play experiance, it could be good to set a scenario in Northland where orders get down from the ships on the beatch (present in the games) and try to reach the first buildings of the close city.
In the other side, the destruction try to blocked them.
We can shoot a lot of video, photos, and identify the main characters who will takes part to the Role Play campaign.
If this step can be, shoot, written and fin, we can go further.
If there are several things to adapt we can talk about it and make another try

Do u guys know if there is a tavern/place where rpers pop in every now and then to check if any spontanious rp is going on? There would probably be no strict storyline etc to make spontanious rp possible or if ppl are already acting in a storyline it could be open to welcome new ppl entering the rp tavern and then we could see how and where it goes from there. It has to be a tavern/place accessible to all ranks so spontanious rp ppl could gather and meetup there. My point is it doesn't have to be always a strict storyline starting at the forum with a massive background (tho its awesome to experience rp this way as well!). long story short let me know if u would be interested in such a place where ppl can meet up for spontanious rp and take it out to the world in pve/pvp/rvr. Cheers

Place for spontaneous Roleplay is in front of AH. if two or more dwarfs are standing together you can instantly start something.
