DB? What a terrible metric to use for anything,
To a certain degree you are correct...but have you really accomplished anything if you aren't killing the enemy? If i see someone with 400k DPS and 2 dbs...are they REALLY doing anything?
the answer is yes, he is doing something. even if it is only slightly helping his other DPS seal the deal.

Number of engies in a single sc however is a great metric to judge how a class is performing right?

DPS which influenced scenario most can even have 0 DB.

This, exactly!
But foremost, classes get changed, learn to work out their weaknesses and strengths, read the patch notes, theorize with other players and play around it, change the way you play. Then, if your still having trouble, come to the forums and ask for ideas and help from others, don't come to the forms and complain. This makes you look weak and un-skilled. Have a great day everyone.

We can agree to disagree. Fluff damage doesn't prove anything either...

Please give me an instance of this that doesn't include being spawn camped.

Any sc in which there was a DPS that played best, pushed correct enemies at right time, absorbed / dpsed enemy healers best, etc but simply had it's KB "stealed" by other dps.

Also 400k damage puts huge pressure on healers and other players especially squischies. Players stay away/run away to get away from "fluff" damager range, healers are pressured so they cannot heal other players enough, players burn their heal pots, etc

Why do this even have to be explained? Terrrain control, healer pressure, dps amount done on a player, etc this matters and can decide sc win more than who did last hit that resulted in KB.

That was intended as a joke, right? Not sure, but if you believe that... could it be a lot of players like to test the changes on their engies? In rvr and in scs? Doesnt mean a class is op or underperforming, its curiosity and testing.

That's a load of crap..honestly. I can easily do 100-200k damage with AoA / OyG on a knight...I was doing it last night just for giggles. Would you say that the additinal 50-100k provided by AoA is pressuring healers?

The only damage that matters is burst...which can be SUBSTANTIALLY lower overall dps.
