The only issue i would have with it is how level brackets would be separeted.
There is a ton of problems when you start tweaking tier levels, i dont think is a good idea to put anyone below 30 in t4 just as i dont think its a good idea making level 1 people have to face people on level 15.
And dont get me started on the shift in meta that comes with group healing, t2 scs where a healer is level 20 are an entire different beast compared to when there is not.
Its not just about the maps.

Re: BABY RAGE
Ok, I can't give specific locations coz i don't really remember, but the way I do it doesn't need any tbh.
T1: lvl 1-5 just do scenario while traveling to the lake 5-11 doing RVR trying to get rr to 20
T2: Pull 6-9 mobs thats 1 ot 2 lvls lower then you and AoEing em while quing for SC's. Then move on to next hostile NPC crowded area were mobs are -1 or -2 (Usually in PQ's)
T3: Same as T2
T4: Same as T2 up till rank 37 when i started to kill Dragon Ogre Champs solo instead.

RoR when it was t3 max was seriously some of the best times we have ever seen.Azarael wrote:Unpopular opinion time?
Cut T3 out completely, adjust tier gaps appropriately and use T3 maps for lower population RvR.
I have never been able to shake the feeling that RvR worked better on the T3 maps.

You could make it so t3 maps are an alternative way to progress in the t4 campaign.
For instance in the drawf/greenskin pairing destro could move from BC to TM, or to badlands. Having control of badlands allows them to cap BFP which opens up KV for capture without having to take TM. Just an alternative route.
Keep the level of all the quests/mobs the same for people who want to PvE, upgrade gunbad gear to t4, adjust RvR quests for T4.
Upon reaching leaving 22 you can take a quest in any T2 WC that gives sends you to your capital city to talk to the realm lord who in need of bodies in distant lands awards the player with experience equal to lvl 32 and a set of defensively focused green gear usable by anyone of that armor type.
my dream anyways :^)

Re: BABY RAGE
RvR worked better because people did it. Now we have pug zergs and small scale. (nothing wrong with either of those playstyles) Practically no one drives RvR, kills are all that matters to the guilds that are interested in the lakes.Azarael wrote:Unpopular opinion time?

In T3, we had Kings, Inquis, Beavers Alliance, Fuerer, Bitterstones events with small scale guilds against Porn Factory, Chlopi on Fridays, Nazgul alliance. Thats just the guilds I remember, I am certain there were more.
Now we have Phalanx and some small scale.
Just remember how much RvR was going on when no one had any rewards for it. Compare that to now. Being rewarded for participation has over taken having a decent fight.

Re: BABY RAGE
From what I've heard it's all about letting the enemy pugs hit the inner doors - then the real RvR starts.

Re: BABY RAGE
Spoiler:
But on your point, there is a divide among players(even within my guild) about whether it is "better" to fight for the objectives(be it in the Lakes or an SC) or to just go look for the best Fight you can get. And when you have multiple groups whom each have their own rankings when it comes to what they consider Important, it can be a bit of a cluster-****.
Maybe I just don't have the Rosey sunglasses on, but I don't remember the T3 cap being all that great. I'll admit, that the greenskin/dwarf maps are much more enjoyable in T3, and T3 does have a few more properly defendable BOs than T4, but it was the same Zerg. Pug WBs pretty much run by the same people.
On topic though,(I guess) I love T1 and T4. T3 is fun, but always dead. T2 is soul crushing for me. My alts all got player to T1 cap, then I grinded or got PLd up the rest of the way. It really doesn't take that long, you just have to try and be efficient about the time you invest. Quests might be worthwhile with the increase in gain, but grinding on Mobs will still be faster. There is just too much down time in quests. Oh and it's boring as ****.
