Other than getting emblems for emblem gear i have little incentive to play Scenarios and i rarely do now and it's been that way since the removal of kill quests, i'll be relieved when i've finally got my T4 1-hand/shield/2-hand because i have NO intention of playing scenarios after that, the FUN of scenarios is gone for me, i have all 5 ruin pieces so i won't even be bothering to get the mercenary gear.

Kill quests (for money reward) make you WANT to make the effort to KILL, when you are on a weak side the ONLY thing you have left that can change the situation is KILLING and even if you KNOW you're going to lose you'll STILL make an effort, hell why even help someone on your side who is being killed when there is only incentive to lock down objectives?

Realness & Fun? meaningless robotic grind?

At this point i also feel like i'm wasting my time saying anything.

The objectives of scenarios are not the POINT of scenarios.

Then queue for Domination, Artifact and Tug of War scenarios only!

Kill quests won't be going into scenarios because scenarios are about objectives (even though that objective may be "kill everyone").

I instructed the team to omit it from the patch notes, but one of the things I finished during the downtime was implementing several new quest handlers, one of which is a handler for scenario victories.

I didn't get the scenario quests/givers done, because that's a lot of work (#ofSCs*2 NPCs and #ofSCs*8 quests), but in the near future you can expect to see quests to win scenarios. These quests will be given and turned into an NPC inside each scenario, and will reward some silver and XP. They will likely also require a token number of kills (like between 2 and 5) purely to prevent AFKers from benefiting.

Shouldnt leaving Scenario through portals give you a penalty? And if so what is that?

Problem solved then.

Make it at least 5-10 kills so no one breaks off constantly to visit said npc.

The objectives would be a small amount of kills and winning the scenario. So for example, the quest can only be turned in after winning a first Khaine's Embrace and joining a second KE scenario.

*utter disbelief*

I have nothing further to say on this matter, i will now remove myself permanently from this conversation.

Glad to hear of the new changes. I for one really like the objective focused scenarios. It incourages different strategies and gives different comps a better chance. Also fantastic work on the pqs, always helps to spread the farmers out.
