I wasnt very serious if you didnt notice yet.Dabbart wrote:Dalgrimar wrote:When you mention team-building exercise you mean that you practice target calling on npc mobs or?DeusMechanicus wrote:
The guy you quote wasn't right, but you're not right either. There is a balance between PvE and RvR gameplay.
PvE is good for taking a break from the RvR. It's excellent for team-building exercise which can strengthen teamwork for RvR.
And it's good for getting alternate gear and set pieces to be used with/replacing RvR gear, providing more options to each player.
And practice prekite/prehot when mobs agro your grp?
Do you not actually know what Team Building is? It rarely has anything to do with practice... Team building has to do with being around each other, and doing odd/different functions/actions so that you learn more about each other and how/why they react to things. Hence, building the Team mentality. It helps people to work together without full communication.
Also, Did you ever run LV or LoTD? Cause yea... They were a LOT of fun, and very challenging, and includes far more than target calling and prehoting... Lol.
Lastly, this forum has become significantly better to read with Kweedko on Ignore.. Just sayin'
And if you enjoy PvE, WoW might be a better MMO for you bro.
Re: Conq and up.
I actually really liked warframe, thought i'd just kill some time ended up putting hours/days/weeks into it. I had a trinity, rhino and the stealther that had the teleporting assassination... I liked that you could grind up gear to compete with the p2win crowd.
@dalgrimar Okey Dokey.
On-topic: I actually think the dev's are handling the T4 roll-out in a very balanced way. quasi-capping RR at 40. They've already stated that with new gear via PvP/PvE/whatever that has higher RR requirements, they will raise the quasi-cap. We all get to lvl and gear up together.
And since Sov will be the last to input, and the Devs have already shown a great willingness and ability to "rebalance" set's... Patience is all that is required... Just wait, once everything is input and working, they'll wipe for Beta

Good thing people like you don't have a say in development decisions.Dalgrimar wrote:Who cares about PvE annyway

Re: Conq and up.
Why wouldn't we use the original models from retail? Or atleast the proposed changes they had planned but never got implemented?

WAR never was a PvE game and shouldnt ever propose to the PvE player.
Its fine its filled now with casual role players who have no clue how to do the most basic stuff but further "development"shouldnt be based around this playerbase.
It shouldnt even change from Live in MY opinion.

Re: Conq and up.
An MMO that alienates a playerbase ends up not having a playerbase. Some people literally only play and support it because they're just Warhammer fans, and if there isn't a full casual story that the average person can enjoy, then they wouldn't play it. There's half your playerbase. If WAR was only pvp, it woulda died even sooner then it did. Or turned into a joke arcade game that has no story, and is literally like every other game with just Warhammer textures.Dalgrimar wrote:Read my sig.mindchamber001 wrote:Good thing people like you don't have a say in development decisions.Dalgrimar wrote:Who cares about PvE annyway

Just because you only pvp, and that's all you want, doesn't mean that developers should just cater to you just because you don't think they should waste time on other people who would enjoy a difference aspect. If your making a game, that's only single faceted, yea it'll be done quicker, sure you can play sooner and yea, it might be okay. But it'll be over real quick and get boring real quick. The more that's developed, the more that there is to do, the more people that a game can cater to, the longer it will last, and the more playerbase it will have. An MMO is entertainment, like a amusement park. Would you like a park with 1 ride that was built in a day or would you like a park with 100 rides that took a little longer.

What i mean is that they shouldnt change the fact from Live that all the best stuff came from PvP and RvR exl the bugged LoTD weapons.Sejanus wrote:

If people dont want to do PvP or RvR thats there problem but dont change the base idea of this game.
