This actually just shows how bad the class is at killing stuff. 120 000dmg/db
And it also shows that their dmg gets outhealed easily. So yeah, the class is still bad.

In which case I actually agree with you completely. This is the reality and it is an imbalance to be fixed. Along with all the other alpha vs beta class situations you listed.

Game is about rvr, not instanced 6vs6.
You may wish it was 6vs6, its not, most people dont even play 6vs6 in all the time they play this game.
I agree that there should be 6vs6 balance but it before anything else is as retarded as not balacing 6vs6 at all.

Of course sorcs and WE will do more damages than a magus cos you know they have "finishers" or "ista cast pike damage".
That said this is not true if you make all your dot ticks togheter and you use indigo fire at the right moment; anyway when both a sorc and a magus do both aoe if the magus do more damage than sorc then you alredy have your answer.
The fact that sorc/bw damage are channeled and so they have an istant burst dosen't make magus/engi badder....
Magus/engi keep pressure high and neutralize those hots and they also have a spammable direct damage aoe just like sorc/bw does. Thus they have more armor and rift.
Of course in 6vs 6 they will not shine cos they not suppose to shine there. The game not supposed to shine at scenary is not a moba. Battle of praag prove it lots of times these days.
Jesus, please just stick to chosen threads. Eh, nevermind, it's highly unlikely that anyone would take your suggestions seriously at this point. If you're going to write things like this, you may want to go back and delete your "I have very limited experience with the magus class r32/r40" post on the other thread so that you don't contradict yourself. It's ok to have an opinion, it's not ok to constantly write and post EVERYTHING that comes to your mind. You have convinced yourself that your "paper warhammer" is real, and sorry but it's not.

...well logistically (putting aside what I like/etc)...is it not a lot easier to balance every class around 6v6 than it is zerg vs zerg? Most classes don't have a place in WB vs WB as a handful of classes are only needed.

Well logistically is much easier to do nothing at all and burn the forums.
But we are resurrecting a dead game, we dont do normal things around here.
And the point still stands, Warhammer died because **** like "lets balance around 6vs6 andd **** everyone"
If you want another game that has to close because only a few can continue suffering its shortcomings, be my guest i guess.

Db can always be stealed no prob. and there are definitly people around who only look for statistics and steal kills this post proves it that people care about them a lot.
Magus still needs things in T3 but I think most of the classes do. He can definitly build a lot of pressure thorugh a lot of AoE but lacks in burst then. I played my magus on live with single dmg which worked great.
AoE is anyway kinda weak against focus premades and is rather the better option for big oRVR fights. But anyway a lot of people claim magus sucks right now and I think the op is correct to show that he still can deliver good pressure which is always a good thing.
The grp setup is also not perfect you need a second AoE player otherwise the WP's are able to just heal it (which they did)
+ I was in that SC it was a camp near ordi spawn so there really wasn't a good way to focus out their WP which would have caused a lot more deaths due to lack of grp healing.
